Second one I'm buying. Not loud, adds another layer of softness. Cheap extra security for the kids' beds. I still put a smaller sheet protector (about the dimensions of a toddler bed) on top of this because those are much easier to wash than a full fitted mattress protector. Been doing that for years with the kids, highly recommended. The Linenspa 34" x 52" sheet protectors would be good for that. Get two so there is always a clean one on hand. You can even layer the bed so when there's an accident in the middle of the night, pull off the top sheet and protector and there's already another set there ready to go! Read more

when we moved into a new home, i purchased this produc to err on the side of caution as we had purchased a brand new bed. i had searched for a bed bug cover (to completely encase the mattress.) this is NOT that. it is however a high quality and well made waterproof matrress COVER. it's very durable, did not allow anything to leak through, and washed like a dream. we did notice that on our pillowtop mattress that it wasn't as comfortable sleeping on the mattress with the padded cover on as it was when we removed it. all around-a good product for the money as long as you are looking for just a mattress cover. Shipping was very fast! Product arrived within the two days (prime shipping) and was on my doorstep by 10 am! It was packaged well in a zipped plastic bag, and when I opened it I was pleasantly surprised at how soft the material was for being waterproof. I unfortunately ordered a full size when I needed a queen, but the seller was extremely helpful with the return process and it went smoothly for me to get the correct product, which was also shipped very quickly. I am working on training my puppy who has a bad habit of messing on the bed when he gets scared, and this cover has saved my new mattress! It doesn't crinkle or make any noise when you get up or move around like most waterproof pads do and it actually added some extra comfort to my pillowtop mattress. I purchased another brand of mattress pad that cost three times as much and it fell apart in the washing machine in the first wash, so I first purchased one of these mattress pads in desperation. I have now purchased four of these mattress pads for different beds and all the pads have held up extremely well in the washer and even the dryer (on low). A recent visit from youngsters proved the mattress pads work. :D These mattress pads have everything I am looking for: durability, easy to wash, no crackling sound, a soft quilted cotton top, deep mattress compatible, and a great price. I ordered this in full and king size for my bed and my 4-year old's bed. He spills drinks, has the occasional bed wetting accident, and we've had bouts with stomach viruses during which moisture would seep through previous waterproof mattress covers. This cover is extremely protective and comfortable due to the padding and quilted cotton top. My husband refused to have a cover in our room because he hated the way the terry fabric tops on other covers felt even through the sheets, but he likes this one. For anyone who has used cloth diapers, the water barrier appears to be made from heavy duty PUL. Previous waterproof protectors had a flimsy layer of laminate that didn't hold up in the washing machine. I washed these covers before placing them on the beds and they performed beautifully. Because they are so thick, however, I had to do quite a bit of wringing (I put the wet mattress cover in a plastic laundry basket with holes and squeezed it with a Rapid Washer to remove the excess water) before they were ready to line dry. I am cautious about using the dryer on these types of products because they can cause the water proof lamination to disintegrate even if it is a thick layer. Read more
