After reading other reviews, I filled the reservoir (see photo) with hot tap water, and dropped in a whitening tablet. After about 15 minutes, tablet is fully dissolved. After using the Waterpik for 4-5 days, it is time to refill with water. After flossing, I refill with hot water and add a tablet. Ready for the next few days. Works great! Read more

I've been using the tablets in the waterpik device for a few weeks now, and I'm not able to discern any whitening effect. The flavoring does enhance the flossing experience, but the whitening is not apparent yet. A quick search on the internet for any papers or evidence that the tablets are effective as whiteners provided no documentation. I also looked at other reviews which uniformly laud the pleasant taste, but none that I could find provided any information that documents whitening. The tablets seem to work as a flavoring agent, but I suspect that the whitening claim may not be supportable. I'll continue to use the tablets through this bottle, but do not plan to reorder when gone - I'll just use mouthwash after I floss. Perhaps if the tablets were less expensive, they might be more appealing. Read more
Have been using the tablets for 3 months now, very noticeable whitening color!! Being a 70 year old senior, I truly appreciate the ease of using. For those who claim to have difficulty with them dissolving, be sure you fill your dispenser with warm water when using. I too have found they didn’t dissolve completely when water was cooler. Also be sure to use for at least two cycles on your unit. Read more
Refreshing! My Waterpik came with these fresh mint tablets. When I ran out, I ordered more from Amazon and felt I got them for a good price. The Waterpik experience isn't satisfying enough without these tablets, especially because I have a permanent bridge that needs the extra care. Read more
