It’s best point in my book is it’s a great looking truck. The downside of this remote control truck is that you are unable to modulate the speed or turning. It is either full speed forward or off or full speed backwards or sharp right turn or sharp left turn no modulating speeds or directions at all. So this must be used outside unless you have a really big home! There’s no way you could drive it around furniture or precisely control it. The way this truck turns is by stopping the wheels on one side and the other side driving the truck in a tight circle. The wheelie bars in the back are good because if you hit a bump and the truck rolls on its side, there’s no up riding itself. Because you can only go full speed, I found that driving it in tall grass was not an option. It quickly flips over. I read the ad again to see if there is anything to indicate that there was no modulation of speed or direction and could not find it. It did say it made precise 360's. That is true, you can spin in place, but not accurate turns. If you would want to set up a an obstacle course to compete, it would not be easy to do at full speed and full turning or straight. This is a fun little truck that is really easy to operate! It takes off like a shot, spins on a dime, and seems to have no problem with uneven ground. Our yard is really unlevel with lots of variations, and it handled them just fine. It did flip itself over when it encountered a small pine cone with the wheels on one side, and until it was completely on its side, it still went forward on two wheels. It has a pretty good range, too. I was able to maintain a good connection between the remote and the truck until it disappeared over a hill and the two items lost sight of each other. As soon as I crested the hill, it started moving again. The turn control is a wheel on the side, rather than the typical joystick controls, and that makes it easier for those of us that don't play video games to operate. The ONLY thing that I don't like was how difficult it was to open the bottom battery hatch. I had to push down really hard to make sure I didn't strip out the screw head. The battery pack comes out for charging, though, via USB connection. The remote control battery is two double-A's. I can't say how long the battery life is, though, because I haven't been able to run it long enough to die, so it seems to be pretty good. Read more
