After searching for a few weeks for a mattress topper with not just a “good” review, but closer to 5 stars, I stumbled upon this one. It’s a little pricey, but it’s WORTH IT. Remember, you get what you pay for. It took about 48 hours to fully decompress and there was quite the smell from the packaging and foam itself. It took a good week or two for the smell to finally dissipate, but it did. Not that big a deal. I took it out of the cover, washed the cover to get rid of the smell on that, and let the mattress topper air out. I’ve been sleeping on it for a few months and it’s WONDERFUL. I’m pregnant and I live in a scattered site shelter. They don’t let us bring our own mattresses in. We’re stuck using the ones they provide and they are LITERALLY prison mattresses. They’re pretty much a plastic cover. Not your standard fabric. The coils in them are so outrageously, uncomfortable. I’m pregnant right now and I can’t sleep on them. Nobody could. The coils in them hit every pressure point on your body and they hurt so much. Hence the need for a topper. I wanted a nice thick one that didn’t squish down to nothing when you laid on it. We got one from Walmart for $50.00 and it’s awful. Again, you get what you pay for. It wasn’t firm enough to hold the weight of anyone. You just sink right through and could feel the coils in the mattress and they still hurt. Which made me want to level up and just pay more for a quality mattress topper with some actual firmness, that will hold you up and away from that awful mattress below. WELL, I can DEFINITELY SAY I FOUND ONE AND IT IS THIS MATTRESS TOPPER! I’m SO happy I found this listing. The cover on it is great as well. It makes it so the mattress topper doesn’t slide around. Having to fiddle with a topper every day is annoying. This one, stays put for the most part. Sometimes I have to readjust it, but not much at all. If anything, I just need to push it toward the headboard every so often so my pillow doesn’t fall down into the little gap between the bed and headboard. That’s about it. If you’re looking for a memory foam topper that’s not too soft and not too firm, you have found your god send. Again I will say I am PREGNANT. So I’m a good 30 pounds heavier than usual. This topper floats me up and away from that awful mattress below and I’ve been able to sleep soundly and comfortably on this. I’m so happy I got it. I liked it so much, I grabbed a second one for my son and tossed that crappy one from Walmart. After getting that, I wanted to make sure the next one was good and then I would get a second for him and replace that piece of garbage from Walmart. He’s so excited to have his own. The newer one has an egg crate to it. Mine is flat. That’s the only difference. I’m excited to see if it feels any different. It was packaged a bit differently and folded so there is a crease down the center and I’m hoping that it levels out like mine did. I do not recall mine being folded like that one is. I was able to unroll mine and stick it right on my mattress to decompress. The newer one, I can’t do that with because of to fold in the center. So I have it in another room, decompressing and airing out. I’m going to wait a week to actually put it on his bed because that smell is STRONG and my pregnant nose just can’t take the smell lol. But I do know it will go away. I will update this and let you know how the newer one goes. But the last one was amazing so I’m assuming this one will be too. I may steal it for myself if the egg crate is more comfortable than the flat one hahaha! But just buy it if you want a comfortable nights sleep. End of story. You can thank me later lol! Happy sleeping! Edit: the new ones with the egg crate top versus flat is even BETTER! It’s a little softer than the other foam, yet still firm and it’s wonderful. I gave my son the flat one and gave me the new one because I’m pregnant and NEED that comfort lol! The egg crate is great if you’re curvy. This is a comfy topper. It's quite well made, with a full quilted encasement around the egg crate foam. It's less firm than my mattress, which is good as I'm a side sleeper and need the extra give for my shoulders and hips. The queen size is pretty spot on to my mattress, but it is going to add 3-4 inches in height to your bed. It's easy to add to the bed, but the corner straps are insufficient to keep the topper in place over time. It would have been better to have a skirt or some straps that fully secure the topper. It doesn't weigh too much considering its construction and will at the very least catch all your night sweat and protect your mattress from getting dirty. Read more

Nnnnice! finally I made my mattress comfortable! I bought this specially for our big bed, and it became soft and comfortable. It used memory foam and a breathable cover, which would sink a little when lying on it, but it still gave me a good support on the spring mattress. Please note that even though it is rolled in a box, it is still a bit heavy and not suitable for transport alone.Finally, it is worthwhile to match a topper like this for an expensive mattress.
