Make sure to situate properly on your face when using and adjust it so it is not too tight because it can leave imprints on skin if you do. Read the manual and follow the instructions!! I have been using red light mode medium level and low to date. It has several other settings that I have not yet tried, such as anti-acne and rejuvenation modes. These modes use different frequencies (colors) of light. Takes a little adjusting to get the straps just right. Once you position the straps on the mask, following uses should be easier since it's just a matter of putting mask on and setting levels and type of desired use on the controller. What a great light therapy mask this is! Most of the ones I have seen before this were incredibly expensive and appeared to do the same things. I love that this is essentially cordless so you can do whatever while you have your "therapy." I prefer to just relax though. The dishes can wait. I like that you use it with nothing on your skin; it makes my face feel so clean. I honestly don't know if it works. I really haven't had it for very long. This product is a red-light therapy face mask. I The ordered this mask to reduce the visibility of my fine lines. The product information states that it yields a 10.5% reduction in fine lines. In 28 days, it should show visible improvement. I have not used it for 28 days yet, and am using different moisturizers to see which work best under the mask. I have also been using the lowest minutes of 10 each time. I'm testing to see which level and time work best for me. So far, I am having fun with this easy-to-use product. My skin does seem to be a bit less dull than before I started the mask. You can use this lightweight silicone mask 3-5 times per week. I'm going to increase my time and level. I use the red mode, but there is also blue and yellow. I like that you can walk around with the remote and it's rechargeable. This can be used by women and men. I have been using this mask for only a short while so far so I don't know how well it actually works at what it says it is supposed to do. I am hopeful though because I have read a lot on red light therapy and many people claim that it has worked for them. This mask is easy to wear but is not the most comfortable and I haven't been able to get it to make full contact with all surfaces of my face without it pressing too hard on certain spots. But it only needs to be worn for 10 to 30 minutes and is recommended 3 to 5 days a week. It has 3 setting and a time mode and shuts off when the time is up so no need to set a timer. I like to do all 3 at 10 minutes each as I have all the issues. It is simple to set up and use and comes with a manual and quick guide. Just pull out the mask and remove the plastic film from the back of it, attach the eye peices and velcro straps and plug the mask into the top of the remote. Then put it on, long press the power button which starts it on the anti-wrinkle mode for 10 minutes so you can cycle through the 3 modes and the times which are in 5 minute increments from 10 to 30 minutes. It kind of has a memory function so when you turn it back on, it is set to the last mode you had it on but reverts back to 10 minutes so if you use it for longer, you will always have to reset the time. It is recommended to do a test first on your thigh and wait 24 hours to see if you are sensitive to it. I have had no issues with sensitivity, irritation or reddening of my face from using this on any of the settings. The eye pieces are supposed to help shield your eyes from the light but since everyone's faces are differently shaped, it may not shield it completely but does seem to reduce it. I also notice it less if I am looking up or forward. I also like that the cord to the remote it a good length so you can put it in your pocket and move around freely. Read more
