I recently received my warmer and so far it works as described. Neither the warmer, the wax, nor the ceramic bowl get very hot so this is a pretty safe solution if you have rambunctious kids or pets. Here's an idea: You can use Ikea’s 5” stainless steel BLANDA bowls as substitutes for the ceramic bowl that comes with the warmer; this makes switching scents much easier since you can have a dedicated bowl for each wax melt. Now, instead of needing to clean the ceramic bowl each time you want to switch scents you can simply place the BLANKA bowl of your choice on the warmer. I much prefer this warmer for diffusing essential oils, too. It’s far easier to use than any of the usual essential oil diffusers or nebulizers. It also produces a stronger scent since the oil isn’t diluted with water vapor, meaning you’ll use less oil in the long run. Read more

This wax warmer is cute, has a deep dish and is easy to use. The only thing is it gets VERY hot. I bought this to replace a wax warmer that I cannot find (it was perfect). With that one, the base was still cool, but it melted the wax really well and was comfortable with leaving it on while I wasn’t home. Now, this one on the other hand, the base gets extremely HOT. While it’s good for the wax, I wouldn’t feel comfortable or even safe leaving this unattended. I feel like it’s a little too hot and will burn the wax. I just got it so I’ll will keep a close eye on it . Definitely put it in a safe space and keep an eye on it. Might return it just for a peace of mind and get one that’s not so hot! Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this one for the basic color and simplicity of the design, for those reasons it deserves 5 stars! Works well years later! Definitely stood the test of time and continues to perform well. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have an auto shut off, which I knew when I bought it so it’s not a negative note for this product. I personally need an auto shut off so when this one is no longer functional for whatever reason I will Shop around for an auto shut off product, but that’s just me. Read more

I wrote a review a few days ago which I do not yet see. At that time, I absolutely loved this wax warmer and gave it 5 stars, but in less than a week with a few hours of use, it no longer works, but the timer stays warm. I don’t feel safe using it any longer, and it does not get warm enough to heat the wax any more unless it is on high. Glad I saved the box as it will be returned. The seller of this product responded promptly to this review and offered to replace the faulty warmer. However, I decided not to accept the replacement and use a nonelectrical one instead. I am updating my review from 1 star to 3 because of their willingness and promptness to address my issues/concerns. I give the seller 5 stars. Read more
