I attempted to leave a very positive review on this tool bag but for some unknown reason Amazon said it wasn’t up to community guidelines. Funny thing is that Amazon headquarters and I happen to live in the very same community, Washington state. So I will give it another try. First off it was never purchased with the intent of putting anything in it. As you can see by the photos that it is pulled over the headrest of my mobility scooter. My 29 year old Greenwing Macaw rides on it. Prior to the canvas bag I had a bunch of ugly towels wrapped around the headrest. The canvas bag is well made and the snaps and zippers are top notch. The canvas is thick and is everything that canvas should be. But it also has a quality that is not normally considered but I considered it and that is gripability (my new word)! My macaw loves his outings and rides with gusto. The tough canvas allows him to grip it with his incredibly sharp and strong Talons. He can handle any bumps, corners or sudden jolts. Yesterday I noticed that he had been giving it hell on the front corner where a heavy seam is and over the amount of time that he has worked on tearing it open is impressive. He has an extremely powerful beak and with all the chewing that he has done I’m impressed with this canvas bag and its toughness. So much so that today when I decided to spin the canvas bag 180 degrees, putting his self damaged corner to his rear and putting the new undamaged corner in front, I decided to purchase another one. That one will actually hold my tools I use when working on my mobility scooter. So if Charlie (my Macaw) decides to rip the other corner up I will just trade it for the new one holding my tools and put my tools in the old one. It will still be in perfect condition for holding my tools and Charlie will have a new one to hang on too. A win win situation. I highly recommend this tough canvas bag for anyone needing it for whatever reason they have. Probably the only thing that it would not be good for is being a soft pillow. Way too tough for that. I bought this bag to carry bullets. Ammo cans are a pain for many reasons, and recently I bought a canvas ammo bag for $65 and I love it. But it was $65 which is stupid expensive. So I searched high and low for small canvas bags that would do the same thing. I want it to hold around 1000 9mm rounds. Sadly, I found nothing that small, but I did find this G&F bag. The bag is shockingly high quality. Think World War 1 military canvas. It’s thick and strong, sewn far better than expected. The zipper is metal, very large and operates smoothly. It can probably hold around 2000 rounds of 9mm, but that would be bursting, just to give you an example of its true capacity. The canvas and handles are so strong I can confidently say this bag is tough enough to be filled with heavy stuff and thrown around, no problem. Read more

I need a new work bag to carry a few work essentials and a few snack items from my locker to the control room where I work. When I first got this bag I thought it was going to be too small but actually it was perfect and forced me to pare down the stuff I was toting every day. The shell is a soft but durable feeling canvass, plenty of inner and outer pockets to carry my reading glasses, my favorite pen, phone charger and snack food to get me through a shift. The handles feel good, the sewing shows good quality and detail and the zipper has course brass teeth that run butter smooth. Liked the first one so much I bought two more. Use one as a tool bag in my truck. The other is full of ratchet straps. They live under the back seat until I need them. The third is in my wife's car. Has a mix of tools, straps, and a flashlight. Heavy duty contruction and zippers. They'll last a longtime. They hold more than they look like they will. Buy one. You won't be dissappointed. Read more
