Most phones today NEED protective cases due to the high cost to replace. For the price, that should be something to take into consideration in the design. The thought that went in to the cup holder portion, was perfect. It fits snug as it should and is designed to fit most any cup holder. Read more

It's just okay, the extension arm leaves room for improvement

What I noticed is that with the extension knob you can tighten to prevent it from sliding "in and out" of the cup but you can't really tighten it hand tight to the point where it firmly holds an angle. For instance, sitting my phone a Pixel 7 into this holder at a 45 degree angle results in (with a bit of wiggle, like you might find on a brick street) the arm dropping down to 0 degrees and the phone looking "face down." That's not great, particularly if you live somewhere where you drive on bumpy roads fairly frequently. I also think this would benefit from some horizontal adjustment. In my car the weight of the phone results in the plastic of the arm deforming and leaning to the right slightly. This would've been better as a metal arm instead of a plastic one. Read more

We ordered this based on the reputation of products made by weather tech. It is well made and the actual aluminum knobs give the cupfone a well engineered premium feel. Those whom we have shared it with find it very attractive as well until we mention the price! Compared to 'similar' products, it approches almost twice the costs. If you are looking for a premium phone holder to give it as a gift, then you will be very happy. If you are looking for a less expensive (loss of a star) and simpler phone holder then keep looking. I will say that this holder is very good with lots of adjustability and it stays where you set it. You get what you pay for. For our part, we really like it and have no regrets as it is a premium application for a phone holder. There are many adjustments and the fit to you cupholder is snug due to the included 'cups' to accommodate to your car. And you likely know that you will lose a cup holder with any of these style phone hokders - just a reminder. Read more
