I have a wedding in a couple weeks so I ordered a couple dresses. This is by far the best one for its price. It’s true to size. I’m 5’4 and 140-150 (I don’t weigh myself often and that’s what it was a couple months ago). I ordered a medium because I usually wear an 8 (sometimes a 6 but an 8 is the average right now). I tightened the corset as tight as possible and I am able to jump around without having to hold it up. No bra (I’m a DD) and no spanx because it is very flattering. Pretty dress true to size. The only reason I returned was because the champagne color was more tan with a pinkish undertone. It looked totally off from the other bridesmaids dresses. I loved the thickness of the material and seeing how cold August got here in Buffalo and that the wedding is September 6th, I would have liked to have worn this dress because I wouldn't be freezing on Saturday. This dress is also more of a fall wedding material and not a summer one. Which I like. It also has some stretch to it and I like the rushing by the mom pooch if you need to hide a little pudge. This dress can definitely be worn to multiple events as the material is a great quality and can be worn as part of a wedding party or formal event like a gala or black tie affair. The color was just a miss for me. If I need a dress for a future event I would consider buying this again but in a different color. Read more
Loved wearing this dress! I am 5'6", 140lbs, 38B, Size 4-6. I originally bought a medium but the corset was laced all the way with room to spare so I exchanged for a small. The top is held up with boning and anti slip trim on the inside. I loved the draping that covered my mom tunmy. Loved the height of the slit, sexy but not risky. I did have to hem the dress about 4 inches all the way around and there was still a little rounded train which looked great when walking. Read more
