Five pillows in various shapes make up this coffee-colored wedge set. The pillows feature attractive details like removable covers, side storage pockets, handles, and Velcro straps for adjustments. Constructed from memory foam that conforms nicely to the body, they help me feel both pressure relief and support. They can be arranged in an endless variety of combinations that ultimately provide comfort and/or relief from post-surgical discomfort, snoring, acid reflux, or, in my case, relaxation. The combinations are infinite for creating a design that offers optimal sleeping and waking positions. One of the combinations I enjoy puts my body in a V-shape position in which my upper and lower parts are elevated. I find this very soothing as it seems to drain all the stress from every part of my body. I like the firmness of these pillows, and am hopeful they will retain this superb quality. I also like the pillows for their coolness as they do not make me feel warm or hot. The coffee-colored material feels soft to the touch so I don't need to use a cover on the pillows. I know that I can launder them whenever I need to because the covers are easily removed with a zipper. The more I use these pillows the more excited I am about them because they add so much to my quality of life. The set includes an excellent sheet of instructions which I failed to see until I had already unboxed the pillows. I was surprised to find that unpacking them was similar to unpacking a bed-in-a-box. The instructions advise to let the pillows sit for a couple of days so they can fully expand. I left four of the pillows alone to do this but I must admit that I couldn't wait to use one of them right away. Between having acid reflux and issues with my cervical and lumbar spine, I have been told by my Dr's a wedge pillow would be ideal for me. This is my third wedge I have . The first two while they helped, just weren't comfortable all night sleeping or for a long time sitting. This set I love the design. The multiple pillows work together to support your body in multiple ways. The main pillow has a curve to it that allows you to comfortably sit up or lay on it. The two support pillows for your neck and lower back help keep you in position. The knee pillow also keeps you in position and give support and pain relief. I really like that these pieces have a no slip design to keep them together. I have had no issues with the pillows slipping or sliding. I also have no issues staying in position and not sliding down the wedge when using like I do with my others. The size is a decent size. I do not have any issues using this pillow. I ordered this wedge pillow set to assist me with my ongoing back issues. I needed something that could support my lower back while I lay in a semi upright position. The ability to also raise my legs takes significant strain off of my lower back making lounging or even sleeping so much more comfortable. It has a nice velvety touch on one side and on the other it has a gripping type of material, so the wedge doesn’t slide around. You can easily remove the material to wash it when needed. The 2 lumbar pillows have Velcro on them so you can position in the perfect place for your neck and lower back without having them slip when you get up. There is a convenient pocket on the side of the leg support to store a TV remote, your phone or reading glasses. I have used another wedge type of support system in the past that was a complete disappointment because it wasn’t firm enough. This wedge is excellent. It is nice and firm and feels very high end. My wife likes to read her Kindle in bed. In the past she’s used pillows to get in an upright position. This set of cushioned pillows does a better job of keeping her in a comfortable position. Since we got this, she tore the hamstring in her right leg. Surgery is probably going to be needed to repair the tear. We’ll know more soon. In the meantime, this set has allowed her to find more comfortable positions to ease the pain. The pain doesn’t go away, but these cushions definitely provide some relief.
