So first things first, these compression socks are definitely long! I’m very squarely in the L size by measurement, but sometimes wonder if I should have ordered a medium—not just because of the calf height, but because the foot is long as well. I’m 5’8” tall & wear an EU 42 shoe, about a US men’s 9/women’s 11. When comparing these to Sockwell 15-20mmHg, my initial impression is that I prefer Wellow, because they are tall! And my experience with Sockwell 15-20mmHg is that some colors, especially darker ones, aren’t tall enough. I’ve been wearing Sockwell 20-30mmHg daily for years for POTS/dysautonomia & wanted to try Wellow out for variety. Obviously, the compression isn’t as strong as a 20-30mmHg sock would be, but I do find them very easy to put on. Some of my Sockwells have thread patterns on the reverse that are easy to snag; the Wellows I got (mulberry dot) do not. For all the stuff I have going on, a sock that’s easy to put on is better than no sock at all! And yes, while they border on too long, they’re more comfortable at the cuff than my others. As the company says, it’s meant to feel like a “gentle hug for the legs”, and it is that, in my experience. And my hands/fingers don’t experience as much pain as even 15-20mmHg gives me to put them on. The stretch is forgiving while putting them on while still giving a good squeeze while wearing them. I will still keep Sockwell 20-30mmHg in my rotation & on my wish list, but this pair of Wellow socks is a strong addition to my collection. I don’t know how they’ll wear in the long term—I wear socks thin across the ball of the foot—but I’m glad to have them, especially since I got them during a sale. The entire sole of the foot, up past the ankle, is reinforced, which gives me some peace of mind about longevity. I was also happy to discover that they aren’t slippery like tights/knee highs, like a couple pairs of more synthetic pairs of socks I have feel. I don’t feel like I’m going to slide out of the front my Birkenstocks while going downstairs. They just feel like a supportive, secure pair of cushioned-sole socks. The mulberry dot print is delightful in person; I hope to add some of the eclipse prints to my collection. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. Read more

Awesome compression socks! My Hubby had bilateral hip replacement surgery & compression socks are a must have for recovery. I purchased another brand before finding this brand not knowing anything about compression socks. The Wellow premium brand is very plush & keep you feet healthy & feel so good on your calves. The other brand was mostly made of nylon which doesn’t allow your feet to breathe. These socks are very soft & all around very comfortable! Great product 😊 Read more

Fabric is wonderfully soft, very comfortable & not itchy, a little thick but - not winter weight heavy. I am a 5'6" woman with size 9 shoes, 17" clydesdale/ work horse legs. The calf size is what is most critical. I ordered a large as that was what was recommended, but I would not recommend a Large if your calf is any bigger. It's not as tight as the tightest compression hose & its easy to put on but it is snug for me. This would easily fit a taller man. There is amble room in the toe for a larger foot, but I can snuggle it up. I might return it because of the length of the stocking itself, as I can pull it up over my knee & folded it back down 2-3 inches. There is no way way they could fall down because it is tight with a 2 inch band at the top. I wish it was easier to clarify sizes needed - this would NOT work for a petite woman. I need a navy pair as I wear socks daily. I have found the bamboo is the most comfortable especially in our sub tropical climate , so was willing to pay the price. Read more

These are very soft and comfy and do the job. The compression is perfect, they come to the right spot below my knee joint, and they're not too thin or too thick. I'm certain I can wear these comfortably in the summer or winter. Most importantly, I've seen a big improvement in the swelling around my ankles. I plan to buy another pair soon. Read more

Love these socks! I have a desk job & my ankles swell a lot even though I try to get up every hour, but when I wear these the swelling is very minimal. They are not like any compression socks I’ve ever tried—they’re easy to get on & I love the colors. I definitely recommend these to anyone who needs compression socks. Read more

These are great. Here’s why: - Very thick, I can see them lasting a very long time - Not TOO much compression, for me anyways. I had surgery on my ankle about a year ago and get neuropathic pain when things are too tight on the top of my foot/ankle. These aren’t too tight in that area but they offer a nice snug fit that gives me some relief when I’m on my feet all day - They look great. I got a pair in white since that’s what my school requires, but I’m totally going to get the cute colors once I graduate. - There is NO toe seam. I cannot stand when the seams touch my pinky toe, and these don’t do that - They are plenty long, but I could see this being a bit of a trouble for shorter people. I am 5’7 and this works out for me Overall, I’m definitely going to invest in some more of these. They are pricey but I really believe they are/will be worth every penny Read more
