These moving blankets did exactly what I needed them to do. The size is perfect, not too large, but big enough to cover and protect furniture. They have a nice medium thickness: padded enough to prevent scratches and dents, but not so bulky that they get in the way while loading or adjusting items. The construction feels solid and durable. You don’t need anything overly fancy for moving, just something sturdy and dependable, and these fit that description really well. I used them between pieces of furniture in the moving truck to prevent scuffing, and they worked perfectly. We also laid a few on the floors to protect from dragging or dropping items, and they held up great. Even after the move, I’ve kept them for ongoing household use because they’re still in excellent shape. Overall, these were a great value and helped keep our belongings protected throughout the move. These came vacuum sealed and were very heavy. Upon opening the bag, they folded out nicely and are a nice weight, sturdy and plenty large enough for our needs. We used them to protect furnishing in a short-term storage facility. I hated to purchase moving blankets, but since the ones you rent from moving companies cannot be used long term, we had to have something to keep furniture from damage. My review will probably be different from other people but I use these moving blankets for under and over dog kennels. They work so well for keeping the dog area clean and covered on top. When they get dusty or hair around them I just use a handheld vacuum and it’s that simple. I have never tried to wash them, I don’t actually recommend that. I have hosed one down and it became so heavy and just tore apart but that is to be expected. Read more
