Disappearing battery compartment spring

I was disappointed in the product. I received it today and tried to install the battery. Immediately after pushing the battery up against the spring that holds it in, the spring disappeared down inside the clock. There is a hole in that area and apparently the spring was not attached very well at all. There is no sign of glue in that area at all. Even if I retrieved the spring from inside the clock, I'd need to figure out how to attach it to the wall of battery area. So the clock is now junk. Poor design, the spring should be attached in some way. Read more
