My previous one was this model, but had lasted many years and needed to be replaced. I was so pleased to have been able to purchase the exact same model as before. Digits are clear, so that even without my glasses on I can make out the time. The alarm can be depended upon, and even if there's a power cut, it is totally reliable. The alarm is a loud sound, but not horrible to hear like some alarms are. Good brand. Good price. Well worth buying! Read more
Exactly as described, works perfectly and a good value for what it is, a small alarm clock with a battery backup. I was a little concerned based on the description, that the numbers would be to small to read, but not the case. Numbers are bright, easy to read and setting time & alarm was easy. Read more

You WILL NOT sleep through the alarm on this alarm clock. I am a heavy sleeper (sometimes I sleep with earplugs in) and with too many alarm clocks I've had, sleeping through the alarm has been far too easy for me. This alarm clock is the only one I have found with an alarm loud enough that I have never slept through the alarm - no matter how exhausted I have been. If you are concerned that the alarm might be too loud, this clock has a HI/LO (Loud/Normal) switch for selecting the loudness level for the alarm. The display isn't huge but it is just the right size if the clock is sitting beside you on a nightstand. Also, the clock itself isn't much wider than the display and has a very small footprint, so it doesn't require/consume hardly any space on your nightstand. Read more

Advertisement says it’s super loud. If you have any hearing loss, you’ll sleep through the alarm on loud setting. It is super bright and may keep you from sleeping, but not loud at all. Going to find a different clock to replace old one had for 20 years that would wake the dead. Pass Read more
