While the title infers that the belt is of real leather, the later description correctly states that it is PU (polyurethane) leather, a type of plastic. While this has a good appearance and is less expensive than real leather, it will not last as long as real leather and will not have the same feel. The brown Western Belt for Women (ASIN: B0DKJPS4FD) looks good. The buckle is a little larger than I comprehended from the photos, but not too large. The belt is sized correctly for what I ordered and fits as expected. The holes for the buckle are sized well, so no problem selecting the correct one. Like other articles of PU leather, the belt has a unique smell to it. It is not the smell of leather. Since this will be worn at my waist, it is unlikely many will have an issue with the it. I got this belt to wear with a sweater dress. And I love it!! I feel so cute in it. Matches the dress perfectly. And goes with my boots too. The dress was blah without it, but now I look great. Super happy I got it. One thing to note is that I wear size 4-6 and this belt is on the smallest hole for me. And I'm sure there are smaller women out there than I am. Would be nice to have one more hole for petite women or teens. Since it's a cute belt. I would get one for my teens if it would fit them. Read more

This is a nice belt, buckle is substantial without being too big. I got it to wear with cowboy boots and it looks really cute! This is not genuine leather, but PU leather, so I don't know how long it will be before it starts to break down, as most faux leather belts do. For now, it does look good and not like a cheap belt.
