Great for power outages to keep phones and electronics charged!

Josh Coyleβ€”December 19, 2025

Bought this for power outages at home - works well for charging phones and other smaller items. The flashlight on it is very helpful in the night with the power out. Will likely use it for camping too as its very portable! Read more

Nice little power station

Robertβ€”January 3, 2026

I bought this for use with my telescope dew heaters and Primary mirror fan. Very compact, very well made. What I like is that it has enough 12v plug in features to cover all my telescope needs without being overkill. I wish it charged a little faster but once charged it will last for quite a while before needing charged again. It comes with a couple adapters for your typical 12v car type plug. The 3 built in 5.5mm x 2.1mm style barrel jack plug are a perfect match for my dew heater plugs. It also has two 120V plugs, 3 USB, and 1 USB-C plugs. so, during a power outage, I can also use this to power a laptop, charge a phone, or power a lamp. The two built in flashlights are a nice added option. Very simple and easy to use. Read more

A real workhorse

S. Strempelβ€”December 6, 2025

I bought mine about five years ago, and sadly it's just now starting to hold low charges. It might not be strong enough to run something like, say, a box fan (I tried this during a power outage once, nope, didn't last long). But I mainly bought it to power p2p internet radios and my laptop (sometimes both at the same time) while I'm working my day job, and it's one of the best investment I ever made. It's remained strong and sturdy after all these years, and has survived getting knocked around every day in my backpack while I move about. It really is a workhorse of a thing. Highly recommended, if you feel like you need this sort of thing. Read more

Compact power bank

JBβ€”November 6, 2025

I bought this for emergencies to power a few small electrical items in my house during a power outage. So far so good, its lightweight, charged quickly and looks well made. I really like the two lights built in, the front light is positioned like a flashlight and the light on the side is more of an area light. Its well thought out. Read more

Awesome Little Power Station!

InMyHumbleOpinionβ€”January 18, 2025

I live in an area that gets a lot of fires and the power company often turns off residential electricity as a preventative measure. I wanted to get a small power station to be able to keep my laptop, router, cell phone, and a few other small items running in the event that our power goes out. And this portable power station is exactly what I needed. I had no idea such a small device could hold enough power for everything I need, but it definitely does. Granted, it won't power appliances like a fridge, toaster, heater, etc., but I didn't get it for that. I just want to be able to keep working on my laptop and stay connected, so it's perfect for my needs. It even has not one but two handy built in lights. Pretty cool! Read more

Buyer Beware β€” Outlet Assembly Started Failing Within the First Year

Ashtonβ€”November 16, 2025

I purchased this Westinghouse iGen200s on my Amazon account for my mom on September 15, 2023 (she paid for it, I just ordered it). Even though it has now been a little over two years, the problem actually started much earlier. The AC outlet assembly began coming loose within the first year of owning it. The amount of use it had was extremely minimal; she only charged it maybe once a month and kept it stored safely. Despite that, the AC outlet housing came completely out within a year. The internal connectors are exposed, and the whole plug section lifts right out of the unit (photos attached). This isn’t normal wear and tear; this is a structural failure on a device that was barely used. For something meant to be a reliable backup during emergencies, this is really disappointing. A power station should not fall apart with such light, careful use. Based on our experience, I’d recommend buyers think twice before purchasing. Read more
