We bought this to replace a 5-year-old Jensen RV TV that died. Not only does it have plenty of connections, including a (rare for this price) optical audio for our sound bar. It also has identical menu/remote features (and some improved ones) that our Jensen had. While we didn't appreciate having to drive to a hardware store to get the mounting screws for the wall mount, we love the TV, and the picture is great, even at 720p. Setup was a breeze, and very intuitive. For those interested in such things, you can turn this into a smart TV using a ROKU or similar device with the usb ports on the back. (despite some reviews, the unit we recvd had all the advertised connections). Read more

I'm giving this TV 5 stars even though the sound quality is terrible. I fixed that by getting a sound bar for under $15. Maybe it would sound better if placed against a wall (I have it in the middle of a room). I would buy this TV again, I am happy with it. I wanted something smaller, not a smart TV, to watch over-the-air TV and DVDs, and this fits the bill perfectly. Later I'll get an HDMI cable and use it as an occasional computer monitor too. The TV is light and easy to set up, and has lots of inputs and outputs on the back. While the sound is bad, I'm not sure you could expect much more with a smaller tv like this. The cheap soundbar I got plugged right in and was good to go. Read more

It's a nice little Telly! Easy to set up, very nice picture, very lightweight and easy for one person to get it all ready to go. I think it only weighs about 4.5 pounds. I really think it would behoove them to beef up the speakers a little bit. It truly sounds like an old transistor radio. That is the main complaint. I am also having trouble getting my Fios remote take over the volume controller. It controls channel selection but not the sound, so I have to keep two remotes handy. Could have something to do with the terrible audio, which is as I mentioned is really poor quality and probably not compatible with other devices. Edit: After one week, I have learned to adjust to the audio shortcomings and find that the product was a very good buy for the price. I have also been reading comments about a sound bar and may look into this. This television replaced an early flatscreen 26" WS Sharp AQUOS, pre-HDMI technology and heavy as a bear. The audio was stellar, so I had gotten a bit spoiled. All in all, I rate the new TV, 8/10 Read more

The sound is terrible you can barely here it This seems to be a common complete about this TV. So out of the gate I needed to hook up a set of speakers. Second it has no controls on the set itself only the remote. So if something happens to the remote or the battery's go dead and you do not have any on hand you can not even turn the unit on. The screen is fine for a lower end 720 unit. But I would not recommend this to anyone for the other above reasons. Read more

A storm blew out our old TV. I got a smart TV to replace it but disliked the hassle inherent in trying to find and switch channels without jumping through too many steps. I replaced the smart TV with this one. It arrived in one day and was basically "plug and play" and it worked great as soon as plugged in. Connectivity was simple as was the ease of use. HDMI ports can be used to plug in a Firestick or any other equipment if you want to stream channels. Works great with OTA antenna as well as our cable box. Remote is instinctive and the picture, brightness, contrast, and audio quality can be adjusted to your preferences. The price was great and it's easy to lift and move. Read more

Westinghouse 24 inch Model No: WD24HX1201. Plug and Play. Resolution looks great. Audio good. Everything works. Excellent price point. My only setback is in the product description. They showed three HDMI ports. In actuality the unit only has two HDMI ports. (See photo) I wanted to plug in three security NVR units, I ended up using the VGA port as my third input. I enjoy the remote so I can turn off the display when not monitoring the premises. Three stars because of the HDMI issue . All in all, it’s a pretty good unit for my needs, so I ended up keeping it. Perfect little TV for my 86-year-old dad. It's really sad that something that used to be so simple is now so complicated and expensive. This TV is great. He can just turn it in and watch. No menus, no figuring how to get back to what he watched yesterday, and it doesn't make him feel dumb. The sound is a bit tinny, but we can live with that. Thank you, Westinghouse! Read more
