I was looking for lightbulbes for my bathroom vanity lights that have clear glass shades. I need a lightbulb that is dimmable, bright, soft warm light, and looks good on display. This one was almost good. I wish the light was warmer and looked better so we went with some pricier bulbs from Home Depot even though they weren't as bright as these. The one bulb was a little crooked in the housing and looked odd. These are definitely a good value and energy efficient. Good for dimmer switches. But not the best look if your bulb shows. LEDs in older fixtures must have bulbs made for enclosed fixture or they'll strobe or flicker and if they aren't dimmable it also happens. These were available for enclosed fixtures, dimmable and the warmer white that I prefer. With those needs in mind I looked locally but an entire aisle of bulbs didn't help when there was no clear indication without reading every box. I cannot believe after TWO YEARS OF SEARCHING… you read that right, two years of searching, I finally found a bulb that works with touch lamps! I am over the moon happy! Going to stock up, cuz it’s impossible to find these. I bought one single Westinghouse Lighting 5237000 12 Watt (65 Watt Equivalent) bulb and it works great in my touch lamp. I touch once to turn on the lamp, touch again to make it brighter, touch a third time to go brighter and a fourth touch turns my lamp off.
