I've been using this cup at home and have been very pleased with how cold it keeps my iced tea. There's still ice in the morning with the thermostat set at 80 degrees. Unlike with my Stanley, the lid doesn't screw on, but just pushes on gently. I have followed directions to hand wash the lid and gasket, and usually hand wash the cup while I'm at it, but have put the cup itself in the dishwasher. Yesterday I took it with me to an appointment. I braced it as well as I could with my sweater in the corner of my tote bag, but was very disappointed when I found it had not only tilted but tipped clear over on its side. I got ready to start the dumping and drying of my tote bag, and found it entirely dry! This pretty purple cup hadn't leaked a drop! Because the lid doesn't require any torque, I'm not sure I'd always trust it, but I was very happy yesterday. It's not enormous, so I have to refill it during the day, but it fits nicely in the car's cup holder and doesn't look obnoxiously large sitting on the coffee table. Read more
