The "belt" mostly does what the ad said it would do, and looks just like the picture, so let me talk about what it doesn't do. Mind you, I like the contraption, but it has its limitations. First, it is not "easy on, easy off" at all. The band is study but floppy elastic (reminiscent of suspender elastic), meaning one cannot shove it through belt loops - one can only pull it through. Trying to put it on while wearing the pants is a near impossible feat, and the metal adjusting brackets catch on every belt loop, making it a bit of a struggle to get it installed on the pants even when you aren't in them. Second, the adjusting brackets and snaps are plenty enough metal to set off a metal detector. I have to regularly go through metal detectors, and security requires removal of all metallic objects before doing so. Can't do that with this belt without taking off my pants too, so my hope this buckle-less belt would allow me to waltz through metal detectors without the repeated hassle of removing my belt... not happening. Third, the adjustment bracket is behind you when wearing the belt, and isn't easy to use, especially since you have to do the adjustment blind behind your back. It would have been nice if the adjustment was on the side or the front... as it is, it pretty much involves a second person to make the adjustment while you are wearing the pants, or a lot of guesswork if you do it yourself while not wearing the pants. That all said, once the proper adjustments are made and the belt is installed to your satisfaction, the belt is very comfortable to wear, and does a good job holding pants up. Oh, and fourth, it does tug your front belt loops sideways, which most belt loops are not designed to do, so I do wonder how long my loops are going to last. Time will tell. Read more

The first thing you have to say about this is, yes it does work, it holds your pants up just like a regular belt is well made and pretty strong,...but the problem I see is that when you make it tight enough to hold up your pants (I have lost some weight so I have to tighten my belt or my pants will fall down big time) it connects to the front 2 belt loops so one side is a hook, then it goes around the back and hooks onto the other sides front belt loop, now if you look the belt loops are VERY strained, I mean they are bending WAY back, so I do not think they would last more then a few months with that much strain on them, so that means your front belt loops will break, so you would have to get a new pair of pants or move the belt back more which would make it look strange. So while its a good idea, I do not see it working a long time without breaking the loops. Maybe someone who has not lost weight or has tighter fitting pants, it might not be much of a strain, unsure, but that is what I have found out about it. Read more

I've been losing weight, and some of my pants have begun to sag and even get to the point where they fall off entirely. I bought a belt but I hated how tight it felt, especially while sitting. So I set out to see if there were any elastic belts and found this gem. A trick I started doing immediately is that I wear it in a 'relaxed mode' most of the time, that means that instead of having it fully stretched to the loops on the front of the pants, I take the right side and pull it back to the loop on the back and clip it there. Then when I am going to be doing a lot of walking and want to prevent the sag, I pull it to the front loop. I do this because even though it's elastic and not as tight as a regular belt, I don't like to have any tightness at all, and it prevents excess wear on the loops. I like that they include a hoop that you can use as an alternative to clipping it to the loops of the pants, though I'll never use that method myself. Until I'm back down to a comfortable size 38 or so, this will be a wonderful way to keep the pants up as I continue to lose weight. Pro-tip: put the belt on the pants before putting the pants on!
