I love this platform. I purchased it in Sept 2019 but didn't consistently use it. The beginning of 2025, I started having lower back pain and even walking a short distance was difficult so I started using the platform again but this time, I used almost every day. I have been using since May of 2025 anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, 5 to 7 days a week (always in 10 minute increments) and I have not had back pain since. It has been a life saver for me. I even feel like I am more toned and have more energy. I haven't tried the platforms without the bar but there are many available. However if this platform should die at some point, I will probably purchase this same model. Read more
We received the whole body vibrator two days ago, and as somebody else said, it's heavy (60 lb +/-) so we had to wait until yesterday until someone could help us take it out of the box. After reviewing the simple instructions a couple times, we set about assembling it. The instructions were clear, necessary tools were included and the best thing is that the screws and washers were installed in the proper places, so it was a simple project to take them out, assemble the pieces (one at a time, of course) and reinstall the screws and washer. Everything lined up easily, it would be hard to make a mistake unless you took out all the screws at the same time instead of only what was necessary to install the next piece. Following the illustrated instructions was a simple process. We were thankful for the thoughtful and detailed engineering. Once assembled, it was easy to ROLL it into the location we wanted, plug it in and try it out. (And I'm a senior female with a bad back and I can do it with minimal effort.) It's a sturdy piece of equipment, and it is very VERY quiet. The instructions are easy to follow. It has three basic programs of various times and speeds and another option you can program time and speed to your specifications plus it has the ability to measure your BMI which I haven't tried.. The platform moves a fraction of an inch in a sort of side to side/up and down motion which works your whole body. The manual includes various exercise options. It did not feel like our bodies were getting a "workout" while on the machine, but later you could tell that yes, indeed, everything felt looser and warmer like it does it you are running or walking any distance. Some people have commented that they had a rash afterward. I experienced that, too, but by the next morning it was gone. I believe it is from the motion which you hardly feel while on the equipment, but your body "gets it." We had one small glitch with the controls, but when I talked to the seller's customer service rep he was very kind and was able to resolve the issue immediately. I haven't rated "pain relief" because we haven't had it long enough to be able to answer, mostly because neither my husband nor I have a lot of pain. We bought this mostly for the convenience of being able to exercise at home no matter the weather, and for strengthening our bones. So far, I am very happy with this purchase. Read more
First off, I feel the results of whole body vibration are subjective based on your desired results (thus a placebo), current health, age, genetics, flexibility, and stress levels. Whole body vibration has been found to decrease cortisol levels resulting in less stress, increase bone density, aid in muscle recovery, aid in fat loss and increase lymphatic drainage. Now, almost all of that is nearly impossible to determine from using this unless you had a bench mark test at the doctor and then went back at interval check ups. I will however say that I DEFINITELY feel generally better after 2 weeks of using this thing. I am a very active body builder and rarely have soreness the day after a hard workout. I use it for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night doing various poses I've found online. *** NOW, let's talk about this specific machine you are looking at. First off, I believe there is probably one or two companies in China making most of these and they are just rebranding it to resellers so, it's the luck of the draw as I'm certain you will get some defective units occasionally. You have to make the call if the 3 year warranty (I think about $36) is worth it to you to ship a 65lb box back to the distributor. I bought that warranty but in hindsight, I shouldn't have since the unit is less than $250 (and not worth a ton of hassle packing it back up in a new box). I have 3 complaints. One is a big one. #1.) In manual mode, the "DOWN SPEED" arrow does not make the vibration go back down. It's basically stuck at where you are (or faster). In other words, it's broken. My girlfriend wants me to return it based on that but I use 1 of the 3 presets 10 minute modes. In those modes, the machine goes back down on its own with no issues. It's in the manual mode that it won't go back down. It's a tough call but I'm not returning it because of that. The other 2 issues aren't a big deal. #2.) So, as others have commented, there are what appears to be fake "up" and "down" buttons on both the left and right hand rails. They even have wires coming out of the tubes that you connect to the dashboard. THEY DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They don't even press down. I pushed on one of them so hard, it dented the metal and didn't spring back! Why they would waste your time hooking them up is beyond me as it would simplify the assembly even more. #3.) No big deal since carabiners are cheap but one of my carabiner springs broke the first week but let me give you some advice... It is extremely annoying to hear the carabiner on the bungee cord slap against the eye hook on the vibration plate while you are using it. I am simply going to take some parachute cord, thread it through the eye of the bungee cord and then tie it to the eye hook (doing away with the carabiners completely). This way the arm bands will be quiet as I use them. - OK, one last thing... A LOT of people on this product say how quiet it is... UM, NO! The vibration plate itself is fairly quiet but why they don't give you a way to turn off the start up beeps at the beginning and end are crazy to me. I get up super early and can't use this thing because it is close to my partner sleeping in the next room and it would definitely wake her up. So, it is worth $250, yes. But keep in mind these vibration platforms go into the thousands of dollars and you get what you pay for. *** One last thing... I see people wear shoes on these machines. You've just eliminated 50% of the benefit! Your shoes will absorb much of the vibration so go barefoot if possible, socks at the most, if you want to get the full benefit of body vibration.
