Actually it tastes great eating by the spoonful, like almond butter, except it appears to be from skinned, raw almonds, rather than roasted, so it's light in color and Not as thick as roasted almond butter. I use it to make almond milk for smoothies, and sometimes eat it like almond butter. There isn't any oil separation, which is great. It says refrigeration isn't necessary but I keep mine in the frig anyway. It keeps a long time and is easy to make your own almond milk, especially if you're making a smoothie; in that case, just put a dollup in the blender along with the right amount of water. This Spin almond milk concentrate unsweetened from Wilderness Poets is a little different from anything I have ever tried. I use almond milk routinely and this concentrate is nice to have on hand in case I run out. This is a jar of thick almond concentrate that you mix with water or you can you it as a cream base per the directions. I at first tried to mix this with a whisk, nope didn't work. So I put it in my little blender and turned it on, it mixed well. Tastes like my almond milk, I decided to add a little liquid allulose and that made the milk taste a lot better as I like mine a little sweet. I used one and a half tablespoons to eight ounces of water. I believe one tablespoon would have been okay. I like having this milk backup in the cabinet, it doesn't need refrigeration in the jar. Mine has a best buy date of 4/24, received 11/22. For something I didn't know existed this cashew milk concentrate is really good and handy to have on hand. Read more

I love the SPIN products as I don't use regular dairy. Many alternative milk products have ingredients that are not healthy. A common one is carrageenan which can irritate the gut. SPIN products are totally pure --no additives and easy to blend fresh for use although it can stay mixed for several days in the fridge. I use all of the different flavors of SPIN. Good idea, was not good for my purposes. I tried thinning it out with water and mixing with a milk frother. It always was very clumpy and I had to use a lot to make the liquid thick enough to taste like anything. Will not be repurchasing Read more

Excellent quality and taste. Unblended product lasts a really long time. This is a huge jar and I’m still finishing it off after a few months. Wow, the packaging was over the top, but it's glass, heavy, and full of ooey gooey goodness, so no complaints. Tastes great. Fresh, not separated.
