I got this skillet, washed it, scrubbed it with salt, washed it again, rubbed with oil to get the residue off, and when the towel was clean, I wiped the inside with avocado oil and put it on a low/medium burner until the oil started to harden. Wiped it out, put it back on the flame, added butter, and threw some eggs in. Result was the best scrambled eggs I have eaten at home, ever. Seems to have the knack for cooking at pretty high heat without burning. I am seriously impressed, especially for the price. Wiped out with a clean damp towel to clean - absolutely nothing stuck..... This small stainless steel skillet is wonderful for cooking my eggs and bacon in the morning without having to scrape the black gunk from the non stick pots and pans. The handle is cool to touch. It is very easy to clean. It is light weight and just the right size, not too little and not too big. The top was not included with my purchase but I will purchase one at a later date. If you use olive oil, avocado oil coat the bottom with a little brush and your cooking will not stick to the bottom. Trust me this is worth your money and it will safe you time and effort. It's an aluminum pan. The handle is riveted. The lable was glued into the inside of the pan. I had to soak it overnight, scrape the paper off, then use isopropyl alcohol to get the glue off. The ordering was correct but the delivery was full of problems which couldn't be resolved because all four customer service representatives didn't have a good command of the English language. Winco 8 inch aluminium fry pan is deep & pretty spacious for me. Edges are not sharp but its a concern as edges are not soft. I like the Winco company product. Good quality & its made with thick aluminium so normal scratching i dont think it will affect the pan. Its thick & good quality fry pan. Now I dont worry about eating food from scrathed nonstick pans which is cancerous. Read more
