I was kind of dissapointed when I saw a bunch of good reviews for this but then again maybe it's just because I have mine in a different space environment. I have it in my little office room which only has a single tiny crank out window and I have a PC setup in there so as you can imagine it gets really hot in the summer. It's like an over-exaggerated Fan to be honest, the Ice packs it comes with are tiny but maybe I should try buying my own bigger ice packs? The fan swing mode is also kind of wack... i'm not sure if it's supposed to rotate at the speed of a snail or if I got a defective one. There's really no good way to angle the fan either since it's round and the flaps only go out like 4cm two ways. Anyway, I can see this being nice for some other kind of room. Read more

The product has a very strong chemical/plastic odor. The plastic and parts are very cheap. It worked for about 2 hours and then stoped working completely. DO NOT BUY. Never written a review in my life but this thing is so bad I had to say something. Not sure who all these people are posting 5 stars, but that was not my experience at all. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It’s not an air conditioner, an air conditioner will put out cold air, this is an evaporative cooling system it willnot get totally cold. Watch you humidity in the room as to much humidity it will stop cooling because it’s a evaporative humidifier as well. I have found out that my RO water is not cold enough even with the ice packs so it didn’t cool. What I did is put water in the fridge to keep it cold, the put in ice packs that came with the machine added water and ICE the second and third time. It keeps things cool not cold. After a while it will stop cooling due to everything getting warm while trying to cool. Add Ice and the ice packs SPLIT EASILY SO BUY YOUR OWN. with very cold water that was in fridge works great. Its for a small room so forget your living room. customer service is trash. Cleaning it you need to be an engineer. So many screws. Read more

Was not worth the price. It’s bulky, didn’t doo much cooling, felt like a standing fan but doesn’t have as great as an air flow of a standard fan does Read more

This didn't work as well as I had hoped it would. We put it in our insulated garage to help cool it during the summer because we had planned on putting our dogs in the garage when we were gone for the day at work. We unfortunately do not have a window so the option to install a window AC unit is out of the question at the moment. Regardless, I wouldn't buy this if you are intending for it to be used as such. It's more of a glorified fan than anything. Read more

I'm not sure why this unit has such poor reviews here, as I find it worth the money, for what it is. This is not going to blow air conditioner cold air like a split or window unit would. It's an evaporative cooler, essentially. I use this to condition and cool a 120 sq foot room. It works well in the dry, Utah summers so far. It comes with 4 ice packs. I put one in the top, and one in the bottom, and fill the tank with fridge-cooled water (I keep a large jar of water in the fridge filled at all times). This isn't a very large unit, takes up about as much space as an oscillating pedestal fan would. It's quiet but not silent, you can definitely hear it, especially on speeds 2 and 3. I'm happy with it and I think it was a good purchase, but being honest, it will not cool you down like a window unit would. If you are expecting it to blast like a brand new car's A/C you will be disappointed. Read more
