This is a dupe for a Dyson fan with how well it cools with the added benefit of a swamp cooler that is free-standing. It cools down a room rapidly especially with ice and the ice packs it comes with and distilled water. It lasts through the night until I wake up and after. I love that it has a drain on the bottom to drain water and a washable filter in back. It’s not too big so perfect size and height to put anywhere. It’s also quiet and very peaceful like a soft waterfall that puts you to sleep. I love that it doesn’t require a window but cools like it does and doesn’t use a lot of energy. YOU Will LOVE this! So many settings! I don’t understand any bad reviews about this! It is one of the BEST buys ever! It worked for a while and quit last week during the extreme heat wave. I don’t recommend this product because you have refill the water often and the ice packs that come with it doesn’t keep the water cool very long. Waste of time. I’m returning it. Read more

I bought this item because I have a big bedroom and it gets pretty warm in the summer time. I've had this item for the past two weeks, and it cools my bedroom to a comfortable temperature that allows me to have a peaceful nights sleep. I fill the water compartment and i alternate the ice packs, two at a time. I highly recommend this cooler to you. You wont be left disappointed. The price is so worth it. As for the noise level, it's so quiet. Airflow is perfectly spread through the room to keep the room cool. I love the design of this product. It fits perfectly in my room and fits with the design of my bedroom. The functionality is easy and even my children know how to use it. Read more

I should say out of the gate that I don't think this is a viable solution to replace a full fledged air conditioner. While it does blow cool air it doesnt do so as quickly as a conventional air conditioner, however when paired with another fan to help circulate the cold air this process can be remidied. There's a soft sound of trickling water when the air cooling mode is active that I view this as a positive as I require white noise in order to sleep. I didn't even know initially this also acts as a humidifier which I was pleasantly surprised by. All in all I'm happy to replace my old noisy window air conditioner with this even if it's a bit on the slower side and would recommend it to others if they need to cool small spaces like a home office or a bedroom.
