Better than expected. There's a subtle texture, like a matte finish, that feels nice to the touch, not like the usual slick plastic feel. You hit the button and get a little torch. Way more relaxed to use than the old flint wheel type. Very good value for the price. Using them regularly and still burning strong. Read more
These lighters are great, until they're not.. For the price of 7 bucks for 5 lighters its not like you can expect a ton, its a great value and its great that they're refillable. They don't hold a ton of fuel at one time, but if you're just lighting cigarettes they're great. That being said you definitely shouldn't expect any of these lighters to last a long time, particularly if you use the basic cheapest butane which is not great for any butane refillable torch lighter. The worst thing you can do for these lighters is to keep the flame on for more than a few seconds at a time, this will very quickly make the torch not work, either just causing it to not spark or make a flame, or just produce a tiny soft flame or a flame that sputters from soft flame to torch flame. So if you are using these to light cigars or anything where you keep the flame lit more than a second or two, these are not the best torches. They just aren't designed for the high heat that they produce, probably the cheap plastic materials that cause this. Often the plastic will warp slightly over a few weeks of use especially if you're keeping them lit for more than a few seconds at a time. I personally just needed a few small lighters because I couldn't bring my big torches with me through security for a flight. Read more
5 nice lighters for good value, especially considering the hoops you have to jump through buying them in brick-and-mortar stores. Just as a warning, they appear to just toss 5 random ones in a usps box with no protection and ship it straight to you.. i encountered no issues and they all work fine, but others may not be so lucky. Also like the colors, but they likely won’t be the ones listed. Happy blazing :) Read more
Works really well in the wind but only lasts about 2 weeks. Buyer be warned. At least you get 5 of them! Read more
I brought these lighter to light on my tea candles because I love essential oils and these babies do the trick they not your usual lighters it give like a mini blow torch and gets the job done it’s very easy to use. You don’t have to keep flickering to get a light th flame is not big but it pack a big punch to whatever you want to light. The look is what you usually see when you get the original version and it gets the job done. Being you get around 4 or 5 in a pack it should last some time depending on what you use it for. I like the various colors it comes in and I even given out two of them to family members who also like the use of them Read more
High intensity flame. Use with caution as the flame is more torch like than a passive flame like on the classic BIC's. Otherwise they're great on a windy day or welding copper pipe together. Word of caution, be sure the flame is completely out before replacing in your pocket or other compartment. The flame seems to linger well after the button is released. Otherwise no complaints.
