I have a full car cover that covers the car completely, which I use for extended parking. Certainly not going through all that when driving daily or running into the mall or doctors for an hour or two. This small cover is great for limited use. I purchased it simply to keep leaves and other debris from falling into the windshield channel, but now love the fact that it also provides sun shielding for front and side glass. It also is easy on and easy off. It doesn't have a security cable (or holes to use one) to lock to vehicle, probably because it only covers the top half. I doubt if someone would steal it, and at the price I won't loose sleep worrying over it. All in all, a quality product at a great price! I've tried three different covers last year alone, when I first started to cover my windshield from dust, and so far this is the first one that covers the whole windshield and most of the front side windows. My car is a 3rd-gen Honda Fit, which has an unusually large windshield and a low, short nose, not the kind of proportion you'd find in most other sedans/hatchbacks, so it can be quite a challenge finding a cover that fits well. Most other covers out there just barely cover my windshield alone and leave front side windows mostly exposed. This one has the best coverage so far. On the down side, it feels pretty frail and looks like won't last very long under the harsh conditions of my environment, so I'm going to buy one or two more as backup. Read more

To say that I was underwhelmed by this product is understating the issue by several orders of magnitude. I got it because unlike the cheapie magnetic version, this one covered both side view mirrors as well as the windscreen. But when I tried to install this piece of filth, one of the front retaining straps just came of in my hand. It's supposed to stretch but the stitches failed catastrophically. What a piece of crap. I guess it was designed for mild winters, not Chicago winters. With only one retaining strap in front, my vehicle facing west (in the only space available) and the wind blowing east in gusts of up to 50mph, this piece of garbage would have blown to Timbucktoo and I would not have been able to return its sorry remains and get my money back! Yes, I will be buying a cheapie magnetic version. You know why? Cause the damn thing works. My neighbor may have to clean his mirrors but he's not complaining. As for me, I'll put socks on my mirrors, a cheapie magnetic cover on my windshield and keep on stepping! Read more

I love this thing. I am now at a place without a garage and I love being able to come out and have my windows frost free. It has a silver side which I look forward to using in the summer months. After having a full car cover this windshield bra works perfectly and is so much less trouble. I only wish it came with a little detached cover for my rear window. Read more

Originally wrote a 4 star review- it was a little too narrow for Audi Q7 and straps appeared a little thin. Well, we've had it less than a month and winds got to 20 MPH and sure enough, rear strap tore off from the cover. Need to be much more sturdy. Read more

Great sun protection for the front of the car. Once I figured out which way was up (smile) it was easy to put on. I had several people stop and ask where I got it. It does a great job of keeping the oak tree debris out of the windshield cowl. It also keeps the sun off the dash, steering wheel and front seats. It keeps the tree and bird droppings off the sun roof and basically keeps the car cleaner. I love not having to deal with the whole car cover. It also looks less awkward taking it off and on in the rain! :) Read more
