Almost 2 years ago, I put together a huge holiday party at a local resort. There were 260 people. The decorations were over the top! It took us three days to set it up and three days to tear it all down. When we were done, there was glitter and fake snow and glass beads over the entire ballroom floor. I felt terrible for whomever was going to be stuck with the job of cleaning it up, so we found a vacuum in a closet and began to try to clean it up ourselves. It was amazing! The back was heavy, but extremely easy to push. It was quiet and it did an unbelievable job of sucking all of that stuff up off of the carpet. It made very short order of the job. My personal housekeeper was there with me cleaning up the ballroom, and she was amazed! She has been a Housekeeper for me and watch for others for 25 years. We figured out the manufacture and model number of the vacuum, and I am mediately ordered one for my home, and one for the workshop where we build all of the holiday and party decor. Two years later, and this vacuum is still going strong! I came on here to see about ordering another one for our second home in the mountains. Some of the comments on other buyers’ reviews have me concerned that the value and quality have decreased since I ordered mine almost 2 years ago, but I think I’m going to give it a try anyway. I have two golden retrievers and their hair gets on and in everything. Read more

I love this vacuum cleaner. It's simple. It's built tough. I use it at home rather than in a commercial setting. I did buy 6 various SEBO attachments to go with it in addition to the upholstery and crevice tools that come with the vac. The handheld turbo Brush, the extension hose, the deluxe parquet brush, the extension tube, the wall and upholstery nozzle for appliances and the regular dust brush. I'm 65. This vacuum cleaner will outlive me. Read more

Buy once, cry once. I'll be selling my Kirby's and will never own another Dyson. The Windsor Sensor XP12 is operator friendly, maintenance friendly and effective for it's intended purpose. I would recommend this unit whether for commercial buildings or households. Read more

Ive cleaned for years. We use these vacuums because they are tough and repairable. So when I started my own company I got the new model! It was fine for 2 months but has a flaw in the foot petal design (the part locks it upright or releases) the petal on this model is plastic with a weak spring, where older ones had a metal bar to reinforce it. *I was actually being gentle as the vacuum was now mine to replace instead of an employer* I even replaced the part which broke again in 5 minutes! So now it falls over when I use the hose -causing many bruises. (Housekeepers understand) I think the spring is just not strong enough to lock the unit upright as intended, or I got a faulty machine... 2 months- 2 foot petals and my only working solution is to kick it now! Will try contacting the manufacturer and find an older version for backup. It's a great vacuum but I'm disappointed to have to modify/repair it so soon after buying it. Good luck! Read more

I Love this Vacuum, I Love how easy it is to use the hose with the attachments. I dont have to connect or disconnect anything to use the wand or attachments. I have a cleaning business and I have tried many Vacuums from Dyson, Shark, Kirby, and a Hoover. None of them can Top the Windsor for its power and easy to use attachments. I Love that it has a bag, when it is full I just take it off an throw it away. No opening it and Shaking out all the dirt that I sucked up and having it go back into the air. No Taking the whole front of it off everytime I need to use the attachments. I Dont have to clean all the filters after every use. It has 2 filters one is a very Nice Hepa Filter and when they get dirty I throw them away and replace them with a New Clean One. When the Brissles on the Roller Brush get worn down , I just push a button pull the Roller out and slide in a New One. If the Roller gets a bunch if hair or string wrapped around it I do the same push a button , pull it out, clean it , slide it back in. Wouldn't Buy any other Vacuum again. Janet Read more

After spending a week researching vacuums for my new high pile carpet and finding them from $700-1300 dollars I went with a recommendation from my sister who has had her Windsor for over 25 years problem free and loves it. I used it yesterday on older (5 years ) and new along with hardwood floors and large area rugs. It worked perfectly and I highly recommend it. It is pricy but if you have the new high pile carpet this is what you need. Read more

I could write a book on why i love this vacuum. I previously had one for probably 40 years … loved it. I honestly I wonder how people can buy a different brand. The automatic adjustment is awesome. It is well worth its price. And because it is a commercial vacuum you are able to buy parts if something breaks . THAT is not the case on most vacuums. Read more

The vacuum works great with one exception. The locking pin on the power supply handle "jiggles" out during use of the vacuum and eventually the handle becomes completely disengaged and pulls right out, often times flying right out of the housekeepers hand. Read more
