They were exactly what I expected: thick gloves for the cold, but not so thick that they restrict finger movement. They're lightweight, the quality is very good, they don't feel cheap at all, and the sizing is accurate too. (Always be aware of your standard size; don't just assume they'll run larger or smaller. You always need to know your size, and there's even a size chart in the product photos.) The design is also good, simple and without any frills, and they work wonderfully. I just purchased the Umewarm winter gloves and am already impressed. These gloves have everything that is needed to counteract my cold wintry weather in Buffalo,NY. I love that the gloves are waterproof and windproof. The gloves are light, flexible, and have reflective strips for nighttime safety. All in all, a great pair of winter gloves for a very good price.
