Better than other alternatives and cheaper too! This was a pleasant surprise after a different brand I got wouldn’t work at all. Was starting to worry that maybe it was something wrong with my car, but this just worked immediately and without bugging out. Very easy to use, fast to connect. Got this because my cable connection would often disconnect at the slightest movement, but with this that’s no longer an issue, great investment if u rely on CarPlay a lot and have existing issues with your cable connection. My wife has a Toyota RAV4 with wired CarPlay. I was curious to see how easy and/or effective this was for being able to connect her iPhone wirelessly as continuing to plug and unplug her iPhone was annoying. The directions were very clear for the setup. After following the connection steps, which went very smoothly and quickly, connecting the phone to CarPlay was a snap. Once connected, I tried streaming music, my audiobook, navigation and Sirius XM. It was literally a piece of cake. Connection quality was excellent and it never dropped out. When we left the car and returned later, started the car, and within 30 seconds, CarPlay was up and running. I have two complaints, but only because I'd like more out of this device. Currently, it only works with iPhones and Apple CarPlay (which it was advertised as,) and two, you can't switch between two connected iPhones without having to disconnect the first one. Again, that was advertised, but I'm hoping that these two additions may be a future upgrade. But, otherwise, I am very pleased with this product. Read more
