When I say good battery life, I mean the battery is legit. Not some knockoff that says 100000000 Milliamp hours or something. It does work as a power bank but it would just take away from the battery life. The camera is very high quality for the price. Wifi connectio. Was simple and it's stayed connected. I had to practice checking if it was on or not in the app because it's meant to be inconspicuous, so no flashing recording lights or anything like that. Make sure you go through every page of the settings to familiarize yourself. Also, bonus feature that I did t realize but am happy with. While it does work on battery power, it can continuously work while plugged in as well so you don't need to worry about battery life. Again, I can't stress the value enough. This camera is a excellent solution to have a stealthy surveillance camera on the move with me, or if I need to set up quickly. The picture quality is crisp for a high definition video and night vision is great as well. It worked without any problem on my home wifi and also tested the self hot spot feature for when I am away from home. The camera is directed very well as I was surprised how I could guess where it was pointing and would still get the perfect angle. Using this camera was a breeze, though removing the lens needs some care. As the instruction notified me that it could break, I did break the glass anyway while taking it out. The spare provided in the box solved that problem, and the customer service have been great when I need more so I am not worried. I would suggest installing your SD card once and then not needing to opening up the glass often. The actual function as a power bank is just a bonus. Will definitely buy again. Read more

This WIWACAM WiFi mini camera in disguise as an auxiliary charging device is a winner in the hidden security / small camera sector. The 4k video resolution is the best part of the package a very noticeable improvement over 1080p resolution in their other cameras. Night vision is also improved due to the 4k technology. As in the other WIWACAM cameras, the set up is easy and one can be on-line in a matter of 5 minutes. No cloud subscription required due to SD micro card (not supplied) interface to allow storage of all the most recent triggered recordings. The settings feature allows a good spectrum of options for video, recording, and detection. The storage brick look of the camera actually works as a auxiliary charging device for your smartphone or other small electronics. There are on/off switches for the camera operation vs the charging feature. I like that a window displays percent charged/discharged so you can see your capacity before you need to plug in.
