I have been looking for an electric dry eye mask for a few years now, but hadn't found something that I thought could replace the ones that had to be microwaved. I wanted something that would be warm enough and which would fit effectively over the eyes without being oversized. I also badly wanted something that would fit into my lifestyle better that having to go at night downstairs to the microwave to heat up the mask, or to go without the treatment every night I wasn't at home. I certainly found that in the Wizard Eye Mask! It fits perfectly over my eyes and is warm enough to do the job of helping soften clogged meibomian glands. The programmer is easy to use but very effective in adjusting the temperature setting and adding time to the program. I found it very safe to even sleep in it, as it was very soothing to use. This mask also encourages me to use it more often, and I am sure my eye doctor with see a difference in my dry eyes because of the greater frequency of use. I am so very happy to have found this mask which has been scientifically developed to specifically treat dry eyes, and which makes treating them so much easier. It can be taken everywhere, and is small enough to go in a purse or laptop case. The mask is very well made and professional. I am eager to show it to my eye doctor, as he is always open to discover what will help his patients. In the interest of transparency, I am leaving my original review, which was accompanied by 5 stars, posted below. However, this thing died on me after less than a month. There was no warning, no lessening of quality. It just worked great until the day that I plugged it in, and nothing happened. Nothing at all. I have also developed a new leariness toward corded masks. I don't mind the wires; I can arrange them so that they don't bother me. But this one has a right sude up and a wrong side, which meant that I had to either put the portable charger it's hooked up to on the mattress beside me, or I have to reverse where I sleep, kicking my husband off his side of the bed so I can sleep there. This may sound like no big deal, but after decades together, him on the left, me on the right, we'd both just about rather have someone tweeze off all our eyelashes than switch our sides and our stuff. So I gently laid the charger above the blankets, so it wouldn't overheat, and nothing bad happened; but a few days ago, the local paper showed photographs of a house fire where the culprit was a charger left lying on a mattress. So, maybe I won't use the corded chargers! But getting back to this one--it was quite pricey, and to use it less than a month is a terrible deal. I considered giving it just one star, but I figure that rating is for a product that never starts, or that falls apart when I pull it out of the package. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ I have to use one of these masks 3 times every day, and so it's important to me to get it right. I purchased one mask (in the photo, it is marked A,) that was great until it died 6 months later, and its replacement stabbed me through the mask with a bit of metal, narrowly missing my eye! So we can't use A. The mask marked D never heated fully, stopping when it was barely beyond room temperature. I am returning it. What isn't shown is that I also tried the single use masks--fine for brief travel, but not a longterm solution--and I also ordered a cordless mask last summer that didn't work--not shown in the picture-- and was sent back. So all told, I have tried 6 kinds of masks. The mask marked B is a cordless type, a bit clunky but doable; I am keeping it to use as a backup mask. And as you may guess, this one, marked C, is the winner! I can adjust the heat on it as well as the duration; not all masks have that feature. The cord that attaches it to my portable charger that I keep by the bed is nice and long, and the display is large, clear, and easily read, even after I put ointment in my eyes. The mask itself is as comfortable as any I have tried, and the heat is gradual but strong. I use setting 4 of 10 levels. If I could change one thing, I'd make the mask more of a figure 8 shape so that I could turn it upside down and use it, as I did my old one. The reason is that I sleep on the left side of the bed, so having to plug the mask in on the right side means that my charger has to rest in the bed rather than on the nightstand. Apart from that, I am happy with this mask, and relieved to have finally found one that works and that I like. Note that if things go sideways up the road--this is still a new mask as I write this, after all--I will be back to change my rating and my review. Read more

This is the best dry eye warm compress I’ve ever used in my life and I’m very grateful to Wizard Research who produced such item, which helps me to manage my dry eye symptoms in much more convenient and effective ways. Thus, I’ve gladly told my ophthalmologist, friends about this item and also bought one more for my sister. For decades, I was bothered by dry eye symptoms and had spent a lot of time treating it while also looking for better solutions. All means for this problem you name it, I had tried it. When electric dry eye mask appeared in the market, I purchased it immediately. Unfortunately, it was very poorly made. Looking for a proper device to reduce my long lasting discomfort was very stressful until one of my ophthalmologists showed me Wizard Research’s Electric Heated Dry Eye Mask, and it was a total game changer from then on. I no longer needed to get up and down between the couch and microwave or disgusted by those cheaply made electronic items. It’s vey easy to set time and temperature, even for a electronic dummy like me. Even from the packaging, I could tell it was much better than those of items I had bought before. And, I was right. Moreover, quick responses to my questions from the company was very impressive and encouraging. It’s worth to spend a bit more for a Real product, especially it solves your long lasting problem.
