I'm using these skulls caps for winter use to keep my head and ears warm. It's tricky situation for me - I have minimal hair on my head, so I need to keep a bit of heat on my head and block the wind, but so many beanies are scratchy and make my head itch - and these don't. These feel so good to wear. They're soft, stretchy, not too tight, and plenty of room. The skull caps don't hold in the moisture - they breathe enough without chilling. Got this just to block the wind off my ears and head on those cold windy days. I wanted slam that that could pack pretty flat in my pocket and this does that well. The material is a very thin but dense tightly woven silky material and the elastic is very nice and fits my smaller (21” circumference) head well but would easily and comfortably stretch to larger heads. The shape is very round and snug fitting similar to a swim cap but cloth instead of whatever rubber they use so that’s the look you are getting. Read more

I am 5'7 ~170 with an average size head and this fits perfect to wear underneath my helmet when skiing (i have an outdoor master helmet). It does not cause my head to itch and was comfortable over a few hours of wearing. Read more
