I ordered this after my doctor diagnosed my pain as DeQuervain’s Tenosynovitis. It is doing the job beautifully. i initially thought the straps weren’t right but I was wrong. I had to pull the strap nearer the fingers more tightly and then it fit perfectly. The thumb strap is a bit long which I could have cut off but I found I could also tuck the extra length behind the thumb and that works well. I like that the straps are adjustable so that they fit snugly but not too tight. I need to wear the brace most of the time but can take it off for eating or activities that require more flexibility. All in all I have found this a very good product and certainly not the most expensive.( jm Read more
I’m 13 weeks postpartum and this is my only child, so I’m extremely attached. So attached that I sprained my wrist because I never put him down. It’s called “mommy wrist” apparently. So my left hand, thumb side specifically started hurting extremely bad and I found out about this brace, which worked wonders, I was in less pain immediately, no lie. The relief I felt, maybe because I was always subconsciously using those tendons so I was always in pain, so the brace helped me not use them and actually rest them without totally immobilizing me, which is how I felt when I couldn’t lift my baby without the brace and now I can Read more
There are two metal supports in the splint. If you don't take them out and bend them to fit, the splint may end up causing more pain than it fixes. This is my first splint, so I didn't know I had to do this. Maybe it's obvious to everyone. however, if you didn't know, this is what you need to do. After bending them a bit with some trial and error, the splint is muuuuuch more comfortable, fits well, breathes okay, and offers a lot of support. If you're between sizes, order the larger size. The only uncomfortable part is the inside of the thumb: the fabric comes too deep into the space between my thumb and index finger. That is the first spot to start to cause discomfort after wearing it for a while (now that the metal supports are bent to fit my wrist). Read more
Nice brace that's easy to use and stabilizes your wrist, thumb, etc. Sure beats the exact same one that the ortho wanted to charge me $280 for! Would recommend. Read more
These are great! Ultra strong Velcro. I opted for this 24/7 option over a cast prescribed for 3 weeks by Dr. with great results. I now wear them every night for sleeping as suggested by the Occupational Therapist. For De Quervain's Tenosynovitis. Read more

I have one that was prescribed by my Ortho doc but I wanted another one to wear to bed. This one appeared to be pretty much the same but although it was a "Large" it fits a little snug. Also, the metal splint that's inside is smaller, not as wide as the one from my doctor. Yet, it still serves the purpose but it's not quite customizable as my other one. Read more
