For reference on 5 foot six 165 pounds and 50 years old, which means my shape continues to evolve into a square. I ordered a medium and I think the size fits well but if you would like a more oversized look, I would size up. It hits at the waist so I don’t know that it would really give you the slouchy look, but maybe if you were a little bit shorter? It feels like a dream. It is so soft and comfortable, I’m still wearing it when it’s 85°! Fall can’t get here fast enough. I’ve worn it a couple times and have not noticed any pilling but I have yet to wash it. I’ll definitely put it in a laundry bag and lay it flat to dry as I think it would shrink or become misshapen. The gray is really pretty with a little bit of blue to it so I don’t look washed out. This cardigan pretty much looks like the picture. The buttery yellow color is nice. The cut of the cardigan is okay. It’s a little but off with puffier sleeves than I’d like. It comes out of the package, very wrinkled and needs a good ironing or steaming. What I don’t like is the fabric. It has a weird sheen to it and it feels a little off. It just feels very synthetic. Since the color is decent, I can see myself grabbing it to put on top of the right outfit on a chilly day. However, it’s just a bit off and I don’t see myself getting a ton of use out of it. It’s the kind of thing I will put on every once in a while because it’s the right color, but it’s never going to become a favorite. The fabric is soft and stitching is good. Button and button loops look good. My only complaint is it is not very flattering to wear. It rides high, stopping above my waist, like a fashion accessory, but makes your arms and torso look huge. Either be comfortable and come all the way down or learn to trim the silhouette. Read more
This is acrylic, but it's got a very soft luxury feel to it. It does have quite a few creases right out of the package, but two minutes in a warm dryer--no kidding, two minutes--and it looks perfect. It's not a heavy sweater, but heavier than just a light shell, and it has a halo to the knit that offers both softness and more warmth. The relaxed fit is wonderful, and the sleeves are plenty long, cuffs can be easily rolled for a fashion statement. The size chart gives helpful measurements. The construction seems very good, though the seams are maybe a little bulky. Hopefully that is for longevity. Value-wise, with the coupon, it seems like a decent value in the mid $30 range.
