I got these to replace the WeMo brand we had that is ending their services soon. I have Wyze camera and Headphones so these were easy to add to my existing app. Setup was very simple and I had no issues with 2.4 or 5ghz wifi. Adding in the app and setting up took about 45 second total. So far they have worked great and are quick to respond through our integrated Google home system with voice commands. I am getting tired of every connected device having its own app. Sure, I know in most cases you can integrate your smart device with Google or Alexa, but in many cases the native app is better for setup/configuration/control. Since I already had other Wyze devices, I decided to give these a try for controlling some lights. The setup was easy. The smart plugs are nicely integrated in the Wyze app. The smart plugs work perfectly. I know there are a lot of smart plugs available that will work equally as well as these. I bought some Leviton smart outlet plugs and bought these as well. I used these during the Christmas season. Wreathes, Trees, Christmas Villages, Garland, etc. Integrate well with Alexa. "Alexa: Turn on Christmas lights." The Wyze app works well to turn them all on/off at once or individually (by name.) Of course Alexa will do that too. But-what I noticed was a wifi reliability issue. One or more plug would drop or lose wifi connectivity. What a pain. Lights would stay on when they were scheduled to turn off. Or they wouldn't turn on. I would have to reprogram them. Just a headache. Not sure if there will be a firmware update to address these issues. That would be great. As far as recommending these plugs - I'll say this, don't expect a perfect, trouble-free relationship. Just know that going in. Read more

These where so easy to setup. I already have the cams, so adding them where a breeze, also have Alexa devices and linking them to my Alexa app was also a breeze. Looking to replace all the clunky Wemo plugs that have become unresponsive, these worked great with the Wyze app and the Alexa app. Read more

I bought a 4 pack of these a few months ago along with their outdoor plug. I had also bought a couple of these a few years ago. I found that the old plugs would not establish connection after changing my WiFi network. So I had to throw them out. The new ones connected very easily but I’m now systematically throwing them out 1 at a time as they won’t maintain connection with my WiFi. 1 of the 4 has worked reliably for the past 4 months. The outdoor one worked reliably all summer. I just took one out of the box for my Christmas tree and have to unplug it every night and plug it back in every morning. I initially found the Wyze plugs at that orange hardware store. I knew I had to have more! This Four-Pack is a bargain! We have a detached garage some distance from the home and never found a good solution for controlling the lights from the house. Apart from trenching the two buildings and running underground conduit the Wyze plug fit the bill as an effective solution! This product is not rated for outdoor use but Wyze does have outdoor plugs. We installed a low watt super bright LED motion sensor flood light on the out side and have it run it an outlet on the inside and it works perfectly! Wyze app has rules that you can set to your geographic location automatically to turn the light on at sunset and off at sunrise and even voice activated via your Amazon Alexa, or you cellphone Alexa app, or your Wyze app!
