I am writing this review as quickly as possible for any future consumers. These boots are absolutely adorable. They are faux suede. But the sizing is the biggest issue that I want to make clear to anyone who is on the fence about ordering a really large size! I wear an 8 1/2. I ordered a size 10. They should be OK with a thin sock. But you ABSOLUTELY, positively have to order a size and a half up. I cannot emphasize this enough. Size 10 for anybody who is an 8 1/2 shoe size. Very much too small, but cute

This is cute, and fairly comfortable. The hidden wedge is quite low. It is slightly narrow but not horribly so--I can wear a wide but don't strictly need one, and it's not squishing my foot, just noticeably on the narrow side. It's not made of amazing materials, unsurprisingly, but I think it will last a while. I usually wear a 9.5, so I got a 10, which I couldn't even get on. I ended up returning for an 11 (!) which fits comfortably with socks. So whether it's true to size may depend on the size you order. Be prepared to send it back. It's a little bit of a struggle to pull on but not too bad, and loosening up with wear. Very suitable for wide calves. The sole is quite flat and benefits from some ball-of-foot cushions. Read more

Back to the 80’s

I love these boots. They remind of the ones I had when I was a teenager in the 80’s. They have a plush lining so you can wear them without socks. I don’t think I’ll be able to wear a sock because of the fit of the shoe, kinda narrow. I do have mild bunions but they feel ok. I wore them for the first time today, 4 hrs to run errands. I would not wear these if I have to do a lot of walking like at the mall or a swap meet. They are really cute for date night or going out on quick errands when you want to look stylish. I plan to get black ones soon. If you have a really wide foot or big bunions, these boots might be uncomfortable to wear. Read more
