The boot dryer works very well and my is very quiet, dried my boot fairly quickly. Having the variable voltage is very useful. Would have been nice to have wall contact attachments instead of a fixed connector, but it works well and does not get hot. Read more
These are great for warming and drying ski boots. Have lighter plug for in car. Keep boots warm on way to ski slopes. Very nice Read more
I hate shows this product because it uses fans to circulate air which gives superior performance. They have a slight humming noise because of the fans as opposed to convection only models. I use these for a 3 week long hiking slog through Scotland where it rained virtually every day. They were a perfect reliable companion to get my one pair of footwear cozy by the following morning. I took them on a ski trip to Colorado and used them every night. They did dry my boots nicely but I think they are overpriced at 50 bucks, but I didn't see any other good options. So I guess the money was well spent to have dry feet in the morning. Read more

These shoe dryers finally gave me the solution I wanted: a way to keep my boots warm as I drive to the mountain. While not as powerful as AC dryers, they do very well drying out boots after a long day. The AC converter operates on 100-240 volts, so you can take these with me to Europe for skiing. The dryer is very quiet. So far (2 months in), the unit seems well-built. These are small enough to leave in the boots during transit and in the boot bag during the day. I plug the dryer into the car outlet when we leave our condo; after a 10 minute drive, the boots are warm. My wife and I both really enjoy having warm boots at the beginning of the ski day. Overall, these are well worth the money. Read more
I store these in my ski boots when they arent being used. I have a 40min drive to Breck and plug them into the accessory port and by the time I get there, my boots are warm and as a bonus, so is everything else in my boot bag. When we travel, the ability to plug them into the wall is a great feature. I never knew how nice it was to put on warm ski boots. These are game changers. When these fail, I will replace with the same product. Read more
So the particular unit I received may or may not be defective. Some people say they work great but others like myself find it somewhat lacking. I like the portable idea using the 12v in a car & optional wall use is good. In my opinion & use case usb-c powered would be better. Certain power-banks I have could easily throw wattage into this dryer. Drying time varies of course. I left them in a pair of slightly damp boots for about 6 hours & seemed to be dry enough. This is when weather was in the 70’s. On a camping trip when it was still fairly chilly out & lots of rain it took 8+ hours to dry. Depending on how wet my boots were. I tried to dry them any chance I was back at camp. The heating element in my unit didn’t seem overly strong. Like mildly warm air was coming out, not hot. Even after a few hours of use not very warm. The small fan seemed to be doing alright though, decent airflow. Noise wasn’t a huge issue more like a very low power fan hum. Personally I was very underwhelmed when using the dryer but for damp shoes they’ll work. Just don’t expect large format boot dryer power from these little dryers. Like I mentioned though it could have been a defect in my unit, but either way this was my experience. I’d recommend giving them a try they might work for your needs. Just check the return policy just in case. Good luck Read more
