This stuff is amazing. I didn’t think floss could make such a difference, but this one actually cleans between my teeth instead of just sliding around. It expands a little as you use it, so it grabs all the gunk without hurting my gums. The mint flavor is super fresh, and I love that it’s treated with charcoal and xylitol — feels way cleaner and more natural than the usual waxy ones. I’m an avid flosser. I floss at least twice a day sometimes more so I’m picky about the kind I use. Other expanding flosses were good but I would experience shredding between a couple teeth. This floss is noticeably thicker than others but it’s stronger too; no shredding. My teeth feel exfoliated after I use it. It feels like a left a teeth spa. It expands when wet, so helps press against the sides of the tooth, but if your teeth are tightly spaced, it might not be for you. My teeth are very tight in some areas and it tends to shred the floss in those areas. Sometimes is results in the fibers getting caught in between my teeth and can be a bit difficult to get it out. If this is the case for you, you might be better off using a more slippery, anti shred type of floss, that will get into those tight spaces without shredding. For everyone else, it works great, as for other parts of my mouth, where the teeth aren't as tight. I use it with my reusable floss holder, which saves me from having to use as much floss. I have been using Cocofloss for years and recently ran out but was informed that the product changed and wasn't as thick as before so I looked for an alternative. I was told to try Burst or Smart Floss by Dr Tung which I've used in the past but kept seeing Xlent which seemed comparable but cheaper. I've also used Smart Floss years ago before Cocofloss but my wife got me a whole ton of Cocofloss which was great. Xlent is thick and has shredded for me yet, it is great, supposedly made with charcoal and treated with xylitol which are beneficial. With the floss being black you can see everything you are getting out between your teeth. This is definitely comparable to the previous Cocofloss and Smart Floss maybe even better and I will be sticking to Xlent for now. Read more
