I’ve been searching for a phone mount for my 4Runner mainly for using Waze, I have used the CD player style but they flop around too much and mess up the dust seal. I wanted something that didn’t require me taking my eyes off the road so cup holder mounts were out of the question. I didn’t want a windshield mount as they obscure my view. I waded through a myriad of mounts until I stumbled on this one and read the reviews regarding the performance on boats. It was more than I wanted to spend but I have no regrets spending extra now. This thing sticks! Almost too well. I have it attached to the curved lens on my instrument cluster over the tach. It’s not going anywhere, period. In fact it’s a real struggle to remove it. The phone clamp works great and the mount has a low profile, it’s not hung out on a long arm like so many others. It fits nicely in the intended location and it’s fairly easy to pop the phone release when I exit the vehicle. I use it with an iPhone XR in a bulky Pelican case fits without an issue. Put this phone holder on the fiberglass console next to steering wheel., hanging off to side. A true test if the suction will hold during a ruckus boat ride on a choppy lake and if phone will also stay in place. Plus if the hot weather would cause suction to fail. Well it passed the test with flying colors. Only other thought would be to be careful with the arm holders in closing and opening around your phone. They do hold phone securely, however seem a bit fragile in the opening and closing phase. Would buy again and pleased with product. Read more

Great phone holder for boats with incredible suction and holding power. Put this on my kayak and went into open ocean with 3 foot waves. Phone did not move and I was not concerned at all. I ordered this for my boat. It is very well made and attached securely on the dash of my boat. It stays in place when it gets wet or sitting in the sun all day, or running in rough water it doesn't move.
