My dogs nails were getting way too long. I have two small dogs one has harder nails the other has softer nails I was tired of going to the groomers and spending extra amount of money. I was shopping on Amazon I came across this grinder and also included some clippers. The price was unbeatable so I took the risk and purchased it on a late night. I got it the next day, and immediately took it out. I saw on the box that there was three different types of grinders soft medium and coarse. I got my little French bulldog and popped on the soft grinder first. He took an harm to it at all. Just sat there patiently until I was done with his left paw. I would say it took me about 5 to 7 minutes per paw to do a good job. I was done in about 30 minutes. Then try it out clippers. The other dog had some harder nails (Boston terrier). She didn’t care for the grinding too much that’s why I started with the clippers I got it to a really good length before the vein. No flinching or anything nice clean cuts. You may wanna wear some glasses or something like that to protect your eyes from the clippings. After I was done clipping her I tried using the grinder she would let me for about 10 seconds at a time. I made a nice move finish I used the medium grinder on her toes. I’ve got to say that it’s been a huge relief for the dogs now they’re able to run around and I have to worry about their toenails getting caught. I made this purchase for both of my dogs one with her nails and the other was off nails it has been the best purchase you are the clippers and grinders didn’t seem to cut it and this one is definitely doing it the company seems stressless and the products are high-quality. The media could not be loaded. This is my first time buying nail clippers or a trimmer for my dogs, iv always had the groomers help me but now that we moved we havent found a new groomer yet and their nails needed to be done. Opening the box everything looked really nice, alot better then I expected especially for the price point. The light coming off the trimmer is strong and the grinding wheel wasnt too loud. My dogs were barking at it at first but within 2-3 minutes it was easy to use on their nails and they didnt seem to mind at all. I started off with the clippers and got the longest of the nails, everything else was pretty ok. I used the trimmer after the clippers to clesn up any edges the clippers made but overall it was easy and i feel i can confidently do this myself with ease now. The only reason this product isnt getting 5 stars is because it makes a mess with the nail dust and the area that the dust shoots out thenside i feel like could easily have a small plastic container for capturing the nail dust and then you can just empty it after each use. Besides the mess the trimmer worked great and the nail clippers we also easy to use and cut great without and damage to their nail. One cool feature on the clipper is a small guard that helps make sure you dont clip too much. Also the trimmer grinds the nail down super well but i touched it with my skin and it did not hurt me so its pretty safe while also working great. I would recomend this for sure and would buy again if i lost this set and needed another tomorow. Read more
