I was worried, after reading reviews: would it be hard to assemble? Uncomfortable? Shoddily made? I took a chance because it looked like it would be exactly what I needed, and it was a *fantastic * value. Well, I’ve had it for a couple of months now, and I love it. My home office space is very tight, and my traditional office chair, while very cushy and comfortable, was simply too big. It was also very boring black pleather. 🥱 So I decided I needed a snazzy but small chair. Since I rarely spend hours at a time sitting in my chair, it didn’t have to be a wonder of lumbar support. The best place to look for lots of options at great prices? Amazon, of course. After considering many similar chairs, I chose this one - more expensive than some, a lot less than others. Very good reviews overall. The look and size I was going for. It arrived quickly - like the old days of Amazon. 😉 It was packaged very well, so arrived in perfect shape. While the chair had received several reviews complaining of difficulty with assembly, I had it put together and in front of my desk in ten minutes. I LOVE this chair! It’s amazingly good quality for this price point. It was VERY easy to assemble (it was mostly assembled already). It’s surprisingly comfortable - I do occasionally sit at my computer for 2-3 hours at a time, and don’t suffer much for it. And it’s SO pretty. I specifically wanted velvet, and went for the pink. It’s slightly brighter than blush pink, pretty far from hot pink…it’s a dignified pink. 😁 If you’re looking for a comfortable, good looking office chair for a small space at a great price, I highly recommend this one. Very cute and comfy chair that fits the desk perfectly. It wheels around smoothly and easy to adjust the height of it. I love this material because it’s easy to wipe off any marks or stains and the color is a nice bright white. It was very easy to assemble, took less than 10 minutes and so far it seems pretty sturdy. This chair was exactly what I was looking for - and I searched quite a long while before deciding. It's sturdy but still sleek, very attractive (love the gray/chrome color scheme I chose, a very nice true gray, too - not too blue or too taupe toned), height-adjustable, swivels very well, rolls ok, (I'm using it on carpet), and nicely compact, with the smaller wheel base I needed to ensure it would fit all the way under my vanity. As others have noted, I would not recommend it for a full day's work/hobby/crafting, but it's definitely comfortable enough for the 60-75 minutes a day I use it for hair and makeup. Two assembly hints: 1) Be very careful of the grease that's used on the main cylinder shaft that allows the height to move up and down - when attaching the base to the chair it's very easy to get the grease on your hands and transfer it onto the seat or other parts of the chair you touch later (it wiped off well for me, but beware), and 2) there is a very long piece of clear protector tape on the chrome that runs along the whole outer edge of the seat that you can remove - before I realized this and removed it, it looked like the chrome was scraped or buckling up. I can't speak to the longevity of the chair yet since I've only had it few weeks, but so far I am extremely happy with my purchase. Not to mention, being able to actually sit down to do my morning routine after years of standing at the sink - why didn't I do this years ago?? I bought this for my wife who needed a new chair for her makeup vanity. The chair was packaged fairly well for protection. The chair itself probably needed more protection, so be sure to check that first. All the parts were included (including wrench) and all were in good condition. The included instructions are easy and assembly was simple. It took me 10 minutes to put it together. Note: I would not recommend this chair for use as a computer chair. The chair is comfortable, but not comfortable enough to sit in for hours at a time. As far as durability goes. The leg and wheel assembly are sturdy enough. Only time will tell how long it'll last.
