June 18: Want to be clear this is a day one review, like I literally just built the chair and sat in it once. For starters, I was really happy when I opened the box and only had to pull out a handful of things- assembly was super simple and I had the whole thing built in under ten minutes. One thing I’d like to point out though- there are two sets of screws- four longer ones and four shorter ones (also a spare of each). The directions for assembly don’t make it very obvious which set to use where (they appear identical in the images in the manual). If you buy this chair (which you should), be sure you use the SHORT screws to attach the mechanism to the bottom of the seat, and then use the LONG screws to attach the back rest to the seat bottom. That’ll save you a few minutes of assembly time and you won’t be unscrewing everything like I had to, hahaha As far as the chair goes, it looks exactly as advertised, super comfy material, surprisingly lightweight yet still sturdy, and seems to have adequate padding all around. Of course I sat criss-cross in it, and it’s PERFECT for that. It does recline a bit, but I don’t know how often I’ll be doing that while I’m working. Really looking forward to having it in front of my desk and seeing how comfortable it is long-term! So far I’m super pleased! September 19: Update! This chair is a little on the low side, even when I have it in its highest position. It’s not terrible but worth mentioning. I also want to point out that it’s actually difficult to NOT lean back in this chair- if you’re utilizing the backrest, it WILL recline. I’m finding myself with a lot of soreness in back in the last month and I think this may be why, So be aware of that. I also CANNOT find wheels that can be attached to this chair. So if there’s any possibility you could want wheels, buy the chair that comes with wheels. Lastly, I just accidentally stepped on one of the triangular shaped legs barefoot, and it hurt like heck. Why in the world would they shape them this way?? Sure it looks rounded but imagine putting your entire body weight on the tip of that without expecting to… yowza. Real talk. I am 60 years old and I am 5'10", 400. I need a chair at home that I could use in my kitchen or really anywhere that I needed a comfortable place to sit. I have COPD and cant stand for any period of time. This chair is a winner. I had a rollator that I was using to help when I needed to be in the kitchen and it would cut off circulation to my legs. This chair is so comfortable and suits my size perfectly. Very sturdy and attractive. The height adjustment adjusts to the same height as my rollator so cooking or doing dishes is no problem. Love those chair and it is so comfortable! It is super easy to build but is also great quality. The color is exactly like the picture and is very quiet. It is easy to adjust the height and it locks there and does not fall down. The only reason why I didn’t give this a 5 star is because one of the parts had a really deep scratch in the metal. Seriously the best purchase! I work from home, sit long hours 10+ hours a day which if anyone who works from home knows, can be hard on the body & legs. I had a horrible chair prior which led to dealing with a lot of swelling in my ankles/feet. I’ve been eyeing this chair for quite a while since they went viral on TikTok but never went forward with buying it. Didn’t think I “NEEDED” it lol. Well I was wrong! I finally decided to move forward with purchasing it, and let me tell you! I am soooo glad I did. This chair would be comfortable for ANYONE!! I’ll tell you now, if you’re plus size like myself, you won’t exactly be able to sit criss crossed. I don’t mind that, and I figured as such. With that said, I am comfortably able to lift one leg up at a time as seen in my photo, and over all fit extremely comfortably with even a little extra room on the sides. At 280 lbs, I have no issues. Since purchasing my swelling has improved, back issues etc. it’s amazing what a good chair can do! If you’ve been on the fence, plus size or not, BUY IT! This chair is my holy GRAILLLLL!!! please do take note that it takes a while to set up but it functions so well!! very easy and simple clean up so you have nothing to worry about. build is simple and makes sense, just takes a long time once again. looks and feelssss beautiful and very sturdy. height it perfect for my desk. a 10/10!
