Wow. What a conversation piece. Imagine being the savior of the party because everyone can get in the picture. Its very compact but it's perfect height. It isnt very heavy. The functions are simple but easy. Its well built. I love it and so does my family. They all want one. This pairs perfectly with my phone on Bluetooth. The opening is smooth. This tripod phone stand is amazing and has so many applications. It is very stable and I wasn't worried at all about my phone falling out. I love that you can tilt your phone different directions also when it is in the gripping device. It's roughly a foot or so folded up, but the extender can go very high giving excellent range. I did not realize when I purchased that it comes with a remote, but it does, which has its own little nook in the stand, super convenient. It is so easy to pair and use, and it can be used with photos or videos. We have used both and that is such a fun feature. Great if you want to vlog or making social videos. No need to hit start or stop on the phone, the remote does it all. I love this tripod. It's light, easy to use, and makes taking all sorts of photos/videos a breeze. This is a nice little tripod for a great price! For around $13 you get a good tripod that can fold away into an easily storable size. The build quality is good and it is perfect height for most cases and can be adjusted as needed. It weighs enough to be relatively sturdy for a phone - but the width of the base limits how sturdy it is to outside forces. Either way, it is a great buy! Def recommend. Read more

I was looking for a convenient, easy to carry tripod and I found it! This thing is great! The telescoping part of the tripod is stiff and it feels durable (I will certainly up date, dear reader, if it fails me) and the bottom portion opens up when you tap it on the ground. And you don’t have to tap very hard. I was able to open the tripod by tapping it on my palm! The clip that holds the phone is tight, so I don’t fear the phone will fall, and it turns in several different directions and it will look straight (or nearly straight) up or down. The nature of the clip at the top will accommodate any style or size of phone but It wouldn’t stretch it enough for my iPad. Well…my phone has a better camera. There is also a really handy remote that will take photos one at a time or several at once. It will also initiate the video capture. It you have to change the mode on the camera by hand first. The remote has a nifty nook to rest in, in the body of the tripod, but the magnet is not strong enough to hold it when you drop it on the floor to open the tripod so keep track of the remote. The only reason I did not give this five stars is the unit tipped over in a stiff wind. The base is not wide enough to hold up in anything but fair weather. But beyond that…I like this unit a lot! This thing is awesome! The bluetooth remote is super easy to use and pair. The overall strength of the tripod is money. I may use it with my little handheld camera as well, but it does amazing with my iPhone. Plus when it is all packed up, it's extremely compact and easy to pack around. It is mostly aluminum so it is also super light weight. Overall, highly recommend this! Read more
