Perfect kettle for my morning pour over. Pour rate is nice and controllable, temperature is fairly accurate I tested mine with 2 other thermometers and this always comes in around +/- 1-2°. Has a temp hold function that works well, and has a good range of temperatures. It is easy to use and has held up well for the past few months so far. It's pretty quiet outside of the beeps, and the cord length is sufficient but may be short if you have a long run that it needs to make. Holds 32oz of water, takes roughly 5min to get to 200°. Excellent Product with Minor Issues I’m really happy with this kettle! The design is beautiful and I love the color. Temperature control is convenient and very practical to use. However, there are a couple of things to note: The wooden lid finish could be smoother - it feels a bit rough. Also, there’s a hole in the lid, so you need to be careful when pouring hot water into your cup to avoid steam or splashing. Overall, it’s a great kettle and I’d recommend it despite these small drawbacks! Read more

A Good Product At A Great Value

Even though the price has gone up a few dollars since I purchased it, I still think this kettle is an excellent value. I use it for Gongfu Cha and find that it works very well. Some folks don’t like the idea of a gooseneck kettle because they think it lowers the temperature too much as it is poured out, but I haven’t found that to be a problem for me. My kettle does not go above 208 degrees Fahrenheit and at first I thought there was something wrong with it, but then I remembered I moved to a state in the mountains and at my elevation water boils at 206*F. I can hear it boiling in the kettle as it approaches that range, so I know my black teas are going to turn out delicious. I am not a coffee drinker, but I think this kettle would be great for pour-over style brewing. I encourage you to read other reviews to make an informed choice, but I think this kettle is a great option for most people. I’ve even used it to boil water for my cup of Ramen when I’m too lazy to boil water on the stove. Read more

After a month of use, the kettle started clicking loudly and heating despite being turned off, sounds like maybe a failed electronic relay? The kettle boils all water and then continues to keep heating even when physically switched off - unplugging it is the only way to stop. Read more
