After our previous robot vacuum finally stopped working, we decided to try the Yeedi M12 PRO+ Robot Vacuum and Mop, and it’s been a great upgrade for our home and a reward for my family and I. Right away, the 11,000Pa suction stood out, intact it pulls up dust, dirt, and pet hair far better than our old one, especially on carpets and along edges. The ZeroTangle technology actually works, which has been a huge relief. We don’t have to constantly clean hair off the brush anymore. The TruEdge deep mopping does an impressive job on our hard floors, getting close to walls and baseboards, and the auto-lift mopping feature is perfect when it transitions onto our area rugs. What really makes this feel highend is the Mini Omni Station. It automatically washes and dries the mop, which saves time and keeps things hygienic. Wow! I love not having to deal with dirty pads after every run. Setup was easy, and once it mapped the house, it started cleaning efficiently with very little supervision. Overall, this robot vacuum has been a reliable and powerful replacement after our last one failed. It keeps our floors consistently clean with minimal effort, and the combo vacuum-and-mop feature makes it feel like a full cleaning upgrade. It's been many many years since I've had a robot vacuum, back when iRobot was the only game in town. With multiple pets in the house, I went through three of them pretty quickly and on the last one, needing a new deck for the fifth time was the final straw. Fast forward to this month. It's fall, I have 6 cats in the house, plus I'm in and out several times a day, tracking in leaves and mud. Decided to treat myself and get a new robot that could vac *and* mop. After watching a few videos, I'd narrowed it down to the Roborock Qrevo Pro. But that price sure made me gulp; should I take a chance and wait for a Black Friday sale? I happened to see the Yeedi M12+ Ultra; the specs looked good and on sale, the price was a few hundred dollars less than the Roborock. Why suffer any longer? I pulled the trigger. I've had it for almost two weeks now and am in love with this thing!!! I wasn't expecting it to be so huge, but was happy to make room for it. Unpacking it was a breeze. The only tricky part about setup was the process of connecting to the home network and quick mapping of my house. Heads up: Editing the maps is extremely limited, so it's worth taking the time to get your house ready to successfully map from the start: get as much off the floor as you can (rugs, anything movable like chairs, toys, etc.), and let the Yeedi have access to everywhere it will need to clean (on one level), even rooms you might normally have closed off. Make sure everything's well lit. Then let the Yeedi do it's thing. For my 820 sf house, it probably mapped it in about 10 minutes. If there's anything that's maybe somewhat lacking, it's the software. As mentioned before, editing maps is rudimentary and you don't want to have to do very much: you can combine rooms, divide, and marquee-select areas you don't want cleaned. Setting up cleaning scenarios is easy and so is scheduling. You can watch the Yeedi at work in the app, monitoring its path. While it's cleaning, a voice announces when the Yeedi needs to return to the base to empty the dustbin, dump the water, clean the pads, recharge. You can fine tune cleaning speed, vacuum suction, amount of water for mopping, 1 or 2 passes, pad drying time. So how does it clean? Magnificently! I have mostly hardwood floors throughout, vinyl in the kitchen, tiled bathroom and short pile area rugs. The Yeedi does a great job of vacuuming especially on rugs, however it sometimes gets hung up on lightweight rug corners and doesn't do as well on hi-lo pile designs. The mopping has been exceptional and this feature makes me the happiest. I have my hardworking buddy vacuuming daily and mopping the kitchen twice a week. It's lovely to see a clean floor every day, where I don't have the annoyance of stepping barefoot on cat litter (which gets tracked all over the house), or seeing dust/fur bunnies growing in corners. With the money I saved not going with the Roborock, I bought the 3-year insurance. I have received Yeedi M12 PRO+ on the 7th of May and have been testing it for almost 3 days by now. First of all I would like to say that before buying it, I’ve made a research and found out that this model is exact the same as DEEBOT T30 OMNI (not a “PRO” version as it doesn’t have AI voice assistant). So you can also find some reviews of this model and take it into account. Personally I have chosen this model due to price-performance ratio and such features as powerful suction, adaptive edge mopping, anti-hair tangling brush, MOP lifting system and true mapping. During the first start it took about 15 to 20 minutes to scan my apartment (760 sf) and build a map. As we have floor-to-ceiling windows the robot cleaner suggested that there are other rooms behind (the same issue with the floor mirror). It doesn’t really affect navigation of the robot but it might stay a bit longer next to window and mirror, trying to enter non-existing rooms. In regard to cleaning mode, I have tried intelligent mode which adjusts mopping and suction in accordance with room and floor surface. I would say that it cleans the way better than our old robot vacuum cleaner - roborock (but there is 3 years gap in these models so it is not really right comparison). In general I am satisfied with mopping although some small stains are still there (probably need to try add some cleaning solution and see if it helps). Also I loved that it turns the mopping off on the carpets and increase the suction power automatically. One issue I need to mention is that it moves a bit chaotic getting on and off the carpets rather than clean them as one zone and then going to the rest of the floor. Also robot moves the carpet when it approaches it from the edge side. However, it is important to say that it didn’t stuck anywhere although I do have pretty difficult rug. By now the are almost no signs of tangled hairs on the brush which is really amazing as I do have a dog and hairs were almost everywhere. So it is impressive. At the moment I am still exploring the new device and try to give it some time. Also I keep on learning how to make the best out of all the settings (you can set up preferred scenarios for cleaning in the App, which I would like to try). Based on everything I experienced so far I would evaluate this robot as a good choice with some issues to be improved. (Will give an update of this review in some time and hope the new software updates will improve my experience and navigation issues). Also I have recently contacted the customer service as I didn’t get free cleaning solution as a part of the offer purchasing the qualifying item (the robot itself). Hopefully it will be solved.
