I’ve tried many different eye masks over the years, but this one is by far the best! It blocks out an impressive 100% of light, if positioned correctly. Sometimes a small amount seeps in where the nose flap is, but readjusting the mask fixes that. The comfort level is outstanding—I can even open my eyes without my eyelashes touching the mask! I initially thought it would be heavier, but the weight is just perfect. I highly recommend this eye mask to anyone looking for a good night’s sleep or relaxation, and I will definitely be purchasing more as gifts. Although it doesn’t come with washing or cold compress instructions in the package, I received an email after my purchase with all the details. Below are instructions from the email: Cold Compress Instructions: 1. Place the eye mask in the freezer at -0.4°F for min 1 hour, extend the time according to personal preference. You can store it in the freezer and take it out when needed. 2. Use time: The cooling eye mask can stay cold for 10 minutes, and the best therapy time is approximately 10 minutes, recommended by a doctor. If you need a cold compress for longer, you can extend the time of the eye mask in the freezer. 3. Storage: When you freeze the eye mask in the freezer, place it in a sealable bag to isolate the fridge odor. We suggest washing the sleep mask before first use for more softness and comfort. Washing instructions for reference: 1. Hand wash only with laundry detergent 2. The water temperature under 40°C/ 104℉ 3. Do not bleach 4. Do not iron 5. No light comes through this eye mask, unlike others I have tried. The lightly weighted mask is comfortable, with an adjustable, wide elastic band. It travels well and is made well from quality materials. Easy to hand wash and takes about 24 hours to air dry. Recommend!!! Read more

Fabulous sleep mask, and I have tried a LOT of masks. The cushioned eyepieces plus satin edge across the bottom block absolutely 100% of light and make the mask very comfortable. Easily adjustable. The weighted mask feels very comfortable and cozy without being claustrophobic, and it is not so heavy that it slides around. I ordered a second one to give a friend as a gift and she was also delighted (and she usually hates wearing sleep masks). Read more

Honestly, i never knew I needed a sleeping mask until I came across this one. I love love love how this mask feels and how it helps me sleep at night. It's really good for blocking light in the morning when you're not ready to face the sun just yet. I also like using it for naps at work! One thing I will say though, you will have to continue to replace this mask. It has beads inside (I'm assuming they're beads, that's what they feel like) to help it stay weighted. But over time, the beads will begin to spread out and make the mask feel empty. Other than that, I really enjoy this mask a lot and I think you guys will too. $16 is a bit much, I'd say it's worth about $13 if anything. But that's just me nitpicking! This is a good buy overall. I was very impressed with the design of this mask. I've tried about 4 different eye masks so far including a much more expensive one and this is my favorite so far. The mask feels a little like a bean bag (I guess because of the glass beads mentioned in the description) so it can conform very easily to the face and pressure is distributed more evenly which helps make these comfortable. The strap is easily adjusted with a thin slide buckle. The shape prevents the mask from touching eyelids or eyelashes and the silk-like fabric flap that goes around the bridge of the nose helps to prevent light leaks. I also found that with the soft and conforming filling material that these were very comfortable for side sleeping and didn't shift or buckle as much as other masks when pushed from the side by my pillow. The weight of this mask is more than others I've tried and I'm not sure if I particularly like that but at the same time I feel that the weight may be helping the mask to stay in place and to reduce gaps where light could leak through.
