This took quite some time and focus to completely assemble. Some of the instructions were confusing or felt like a puzzle, but the end product is great! The media could not be loaded. I have another YIHAYO Adjustable Height Standing Desk. It works great. Everyone loves it. And I had no problem putting it together. This L-Shaped version works just as well. But it took me at least 4 hours to put it together (even with my prior experience with my first YIHAYO desk) because the assembly instructions are not as helpful as they should be. So a big 5 Stars on quality and satisfaction - AFTER I got it assembled. But I'd give the assembly instructions half a star at best. The video I provided grossly exaggerates the noise it makes while operating. It's actually quiet. It's just the microphone of my camera does exactly what it was built to do - pick up sound without fail. If you are a patient person, patient with yourself, and patient with puzzles, then you will have no problem putting this table together. Once it is assembled, properly, it works without any need to make adjustments. It just works as it should. The hex wrench supplied with this kit is perfectly adequate, but you will want to ditch the Phillips screw driver on the opposite end of the hex wrench for one you have at home. Also, the controller works to perfection. It has 3 pre-set positions, but you can adjust the height with tremendous precision and repeatability just by using the up and down buttons. Read more

Directions were just pictures, but I gave this a chance despite other customers mixed reviews. Took quite a while to put together by myself, mostly due to not wanting to misinterpret the pictures on the directions. Desk legs wouldn’t align at the same height, so had to return. Otherwise the desk was the perfect size and had ample space for 3 or more monitors. Although I was unable to enjoy and set up my working space, I was excited to do so just based upon the size and aesthetic of this desk. Read more

The threaded insert embedded in the desktop does not have any threading inside, so the screw has nothing to grip onto and cannot be secured. This appears to be a quality control issue. I tried to contact the manufacturer for support, but the phone number field would not accept my number, so I was unable to submit my request. Returning or exchanging the item felt too troublesome, so I decided to make it work and complete the assembly. After putting it together, the overall look and quality are actually quite nice. If it weren’t for the quality issue with the threaded insert and the difficulty reaching product support, I would gladly give this five stars. Read more

If you never listen to anything else on the internet listen to this! I MEAN DO NOT BUY THIS DESK. The instruction and piercing together is horrible it is currently in the trash because the parts do not go together properly and the instructions are horribly inaccurate. There is nothing good about it, I wasted 2 freaking hours on this desk before I finally trashed it, and got tired of dealing with it. This is the worst desk ever! Overall a great desk. It works as you'd expect with plenty of height range. This is being used with a laptop and two monitors on one side, and a 65" tv on the other. I would have liked this to have more depth. You cannot put the external monitors, closed laptop, and external keyboard in a row. If you use an external keyboard with your laptop, it will need to be put to the side, and you'll lose desk space. However, the listing clearly described the dimensions, so I knew what I was getting. The instructions can be improved. They were a little confusing with the numbers, but it wasn't bad. Biggest opportunity for improvement is to replace the hex screws with regular Phillips screws and include a cheap screwdriver instead of the hex wrench. This was huge hassle and uncomfortable. I think for ~$200 for this, it's not asking much to include a screwdriver instead. None of this should deter you from getting this desk if you like what you see. Read more

The best thing about this desk is having height adjustment and it's electric. Also, the topper is made with high-quality materials which can handle decent weight. In addition, frame is super sturdy and it's weightless. Assembly takes about 30 minutes which is easy. Besides, I like the color and as you see in pictures it's like rusty wood which looks gorgeous.
