Honestly I didn't even get this to use as a laptop stand or something, I got it for the versatility it can be used for. For example I use this whenever it's cleaning day and I can just bring my supplies along with me. Also as a table to eat from my bed if I want to eat there. or whenever I have people visiting they can eat from there too. It can also be used as a game night table or for when you have standing conversations with drinks. I really think this is worth the money as the possibilities are endless. It's really sturdy and won't tip over easily. It rolls around smoothly and the wheels have locks too. It can get pretty small and tall enough for most uses however if you are a really tall person then it might not fit your needs. This is an excellent adjustable height table at this price point. This table punches above it's cost. While it's not at the level of quality of the $140 adjustable table I have, it is a very good low cost option. When comparing the two, the weak points for this one are- The Pneumatic lift isn't as smooth, but works perfectly fine. The lift is controlled by a cable, where as the more expensive one uses a solid metal rod, the cable might wear out sooner. The wheels are lower quality. Otherwise the tables are equal quality. Likes- Easy to assemble with the tools provided. I generally use my own tools, but the included tools were better than usual. All the holes/parts lined up perfectly. Extra screws/bolts were included. Overall the table is sturdy. Extra wide base, larger than the table top, gives added stability. Top and leg support are all very solid, not flimsy. Wood grain on top looks nice, good quality, not cheap looking. Headphone hook under the tabletop is a nice addition. The pneumatic assist is substantial and pushes the table up easily. Wheels are easy to lock and unlock Maximum height is perfect as a standing desk for even a tall person. Minimum height is good for using with a standard height chair. Minor Dislikes- Minimum height is not low enough to use while sitting on a couch. The up/down motion sticks a bit at times so you have to help it to move to get it started, but after it's free it moves very well. Wheels are small and seem a bit cheap, not as well made as the rest of the table. They function fine but might not hold up to a lot of weight. If they fail, they're a standard size that's easily replaceable. The instructions were generally understandable, but a little too basic. More detail/narrative in the instructions would be better. This portable desk has changed the game for me. I frequently like to stand while on my computer and I'd typically place it on my kitchen counter. This eliminates that, allowing me to stand more comfortably while using my laptop, wherever i please. I also really look forward to using this to work as i stand on my vibration plate! It's sturdy, somewhat heavy so it feels well built, beautiful, and large. It has the perfect amount of space to place my laptop, keyboard, bluetooth mouse, a drink, and a small book. The lifting and lowering mechanism is also very functional, though you do have to place a bit of pressure onto the table when lowering it, while pulling the handle underneath the table. When i opened fhe box, originally it seemed like a lot of parts. But it really only took me about 10 minutes to put it together. This is a very solid option for under $100 and it looks great in my space. It is again, quite large though, so it takes up space in my house because my house is small. But if you don't live in a smaller home, then you should have no problem finding a place to put this away. It lifts pretty high too! My only complaint is that the hook that you screw in to the bottom on the left side, was very difficult to attach. I'm guessing it's because the holes were really small, so it was extremely difficult to tighten the screws into it. Took much more effort than i enjoyed. The base is alao quite wide too, a bit wider than the table itself. So you'll want to keep this out of any walkways, as it would be quite the drag to accidentally kick this with bare feet. This thing is great. It came today and I put it together easily in about 15 minutes. What stands out is the heft and strength (and weight!) of the metal base. It’s far heavier than I assumed it would be and that’s a good thing because it makes it really sturdy. The range of motion is really broad, going from what you could use as a laptop session or lunch in front of the tv to a podium where you could stand with notes or laptop to address a crowd. The rustic brown top is kind of a medium brown and is smooth and nicely finished around the edges. Fits my 17 inch laptop with room for mouse and coffee. When I press the latch to raise it up, it just zooms up fast...kind of scared me at first lol. To lower it takes some force to push it down but that’s not a problem.
