Nice shoes
The fit is honestly the best part. I have athletic calves (around 17 inches), and so many “wide calf” boots still pinch or leave a gap at the top. These have plenty of room without looking baggy, and the side zipper goes all the way down, making them super easy to pull on and off. No wrestling required. The pointed toe and mid-height heel (I’d guess about 2.5 inches) give my legs that long, sleek look without killing my feet. I wore them for a full day of running errands and then out to dinner, and my feet weren’t screaming by the end of the night. The rubber sole is grippy—I didn’t slip once on wet sidewalks—and the slight pleating at the ankle adds a nice touch that keeps them from looking too plain. I’ve paired them with skinny jeans, midi dresses, and even leggings for work, and they work with everything. Got a ton of compliments the first time I wore them out. They’re lightweight too, which is a relief compared to some clunky boots I’ve owned. Only tiny nitpick: the zipper pull is a bit small, so I have to be careful when I’m in a rush. Otherwise, no complaints. For the price, these feel like a steal. Definitely planning to grab another color soon. If you’ve got wider feet or calves and want something stylish that you can actually wear all day, these are worth trying. Read more
